i was with my ex for about 6 months and she tried to kill her self after her 18 yr old brother died.
she had terrible depression and if it wasnt for me frog marching her to her doctors and demanding help she would def of killed herself.
i stayed with her even though i disliked what she was doing to herself and me.
i cheated a couple of times,i would of left her first but she lost her closest family friend and her parents were cvnts and she said infont of the doctor and me if i left her she would kill herself!!!

I can not say it's NEVER justified. It's easy to say you should get out if you need to cheat but sometimes there are can be reasons I think but they also should be discussed first.
