850 holley, and it has too much wheel spin now. engine dyno showed around 520hp and 640tq, not sure what it's putting to the ground. just a play toy.

It may take a while but I'll update with pics and progress. Finding the right car will take time. Making it fast not so much. Can't wait to have that head pinned to the seat while listening to the V8 rumble blower whine boost needle spin with the tach etc.

Just pick up like a 2004 Supercharged ZO6........my boy just picked one up and its a "fun" car..........

Dude if your looking for a fun car and an easy way of tuning and making fast get a Mazda Miata. Look for a 94-97 those are the best years. But all of them are good. The car weights 2500 pounds and you can even turbo it and or drop a 5.0 or ls engine in it. Those cars are great to drive and with some added power are monsters and you can do everything for 10-15g from scratch.

Thought about the rex. Then talked to a few people with 300+ hp who get 10mpg. Makes sense... 2.o must rev its nutz off. They are a blast though. Interiors are GREAT compared to the vette.

The vette still has my attention though. Still looking. Mmmmm Blown C5.

You could go for a Pontiac GTO, for 2004 they came with a LS1, but 2005-6 came with the LS2

    *drool*

Plus you'd have tons of money left over the invest in a blower or other mods.

Red just isn't working for me... If anything black would fit best.

    Probably at sears.

I hear adding a huge spoiler especially onto fwd cars adds about 100hp to the car. Then when you add the very unaerodynamic body kits you add an additional 200 hp. Then the fart cannons allow me to time travel lol.

evo9 are nice but dont know how much their worth.

something like white with charcoal wheels
    or black on black.

    even yellow with black wheels.

Thats wheel hp/tq on a dyno so factor in drivetrain loss. Flywheel is over 400. I don't have the graph in front of me but I believe it was around 430 with a nice curve. I'm not sure where to go with mods yet but its not finished. I'm thinking cam and heads are next. It did 12.0 in the quarter on street tires, not fast but quick. I'm not building it to be a drag car though, more of a fast streetable car that stops and handles can cruise to the shore and get 25-30 mpg.

    350. I hear cam and heads really wake this motor up so Ima have to save some more loot and report back with better numbers lol. It'll be finished when it scares me. This could get expensive.

An 03 Cobra is a great choice. The Tremec tranny is decent but the motors are quite bulletproof. YOu can make sick power with simple mods such as running higher boost and a custom tune. Add some 4:10 gears and you've got a 12 second car all day long.

my vote is on the 03/04 cobra..... full exhaust..... computer chip..... cold air..... a smaller pulley and a tune..... your high 11's. 390hp stock...... not bad man - and the prices have come down considerably. The other thing you could do if you wanted a straight line car is to get rid of the independant rear suspension and drop in a solid axel.....

    Those cars are a dream.....

Ninja, what model BMW is this? I saw one last week while I was in the vette, cruising down 95. My girl was in the car with me and said she likes my vette better. I knew she was just trying to make me feel good lol. This thing is baller. Nicest looking car I've seen, not overdone in the styling department like a lot of exotics.
