    Hey, if you don't want to give credence to cliinical data that was the result oif a controlled study using Var only at low dosages then I don't know what to say. I haven't run a Var only cycle because it is senseless and counter-productive for the reasons stated above and also confirmed in the clinical study I posted.

    thanks for the props, but I may have not explained myself clearly whenever I stated what you're referencing. there are other compounds that could also be run solo, tbol and primo come to mind as well and there are others. that being said, I prefer test in all cycles, I just like the way I feel on test.

    I'm not well based on clinical studies, my advice is pretty much from personal experience. Var only at 100mg/day gave insane strength gains, with none of the problems typically associated with low test. I had no libido or erectile issues, which personally is one of the indicators I feel when becoming suppressed. That being said, I have in many cases used myself as a guinea pig just to see how I respond compared to common ideas, if I were to run the same cycle again it would be with test, the only reason I ommited the test was to see how I responded to the var only.

    Thanks for chiming in Big. I gues I did miss a few other compounds you mentioned that could be ran solo. I'm with you. Personal experience will trump any study.

    Sorry about all this stuff in your thread. Anyways, you need a better diet to put on some natural weight first. You could prob gain another 30lbs with a solid diet.

    He wants to gain strength, not mass. Telling him he needs to gain mass first is kinda the opposite of what he is aiming for. My guess is that he is wanting to stay the same weight, but gain strength so he can climb better. Gaining mass would be counterproductive to his overall goal.

    I know most ppl here are geared towards the bodybuilding scene. But not everyone wants to gain mass. some have more of a focus on strength. So giving the cookie cutter advice of "diet to gain more mass first" does not always work.

    Granted I don't have enough knowledge yet to provide him advice, I figured I'd chime in to help him get a more focused answer.

    That is my take on his post anyways, I guess I could be off, but he did say he did not want to gain "unnecessary muscle."
