US Army infantry nine years and running, and I love it. When you are single, you can live like a rock star on the money you're paid (at least in the US). Get to travel everywhere on the good Uncle's dime, and I basically get paid to eat and lift when I'm not in the field. It's f-in great. Even being married, the fam is taken care of, all I gotta do is not get killed. Some things suck from time to time, but there's a lot of things in civilian life that suck. At least I always got three hots, a cot, and insurance

I served 5 years in the Marine Corps. You do deal with a lot of Bullshit but i have to say it was the best times of my life. i got out in april and i kind of miss it. the only reason i got out was because i just had a son with my wife and didnt want him to grow up in a military family. if u have any questions feel free to ask.

Yeah, was in the army, in EOD (bomb disposal) for many years, made good mates while in but got tired of the bulls**t at times. Once out i worked in the same field for over 15 years, all over the world and saved money. No with own businesses and living in Asia (with all the bulls**t that comes with that...lol)
