    February 1 - Day 20

Did some cardio in the morning and hit the gym hard for a back/bi day later on. Diet was beautiful and tried out some turkey bacon, some monastery rye, and 4 egg whites and one whole egg for breakfast. Sounds like a lot, but 52g of carbs, 46g proteins, and 8g fats w/ 420 calories. Fueled me pretty well for the rest of the day as well.

    February 2 - Day 21

Got my clen from AR-R today! Won't be using it just yet, want to try the diet out for a month and a half first. Today I have the day off of school plus I have some intramural sports so I will be hitting the gym right after. Leg day today. This didn't stop me from doing my cardio upon wake though. Tomorrow is my 3-week weigh in tomorrow, and I am most excited because since last week I have gotten a lot of comments that people are seeing a difference. Will keep you updated with the results.

Question about liquid clen: It is taken orally, that I understand. But what I can't find, is if you should take it by itself or with water? Do I just drop it into my mouth or mix it? Any help would be great. Just for my own personal information.

    February 3 - Day 22

Hey guys, today was weigh in today. Last week I weighed in at 223.9 and today I weighed in at 222.8 so loss of about 1 pound. A little disappointing, as I busted my ass during cardio and at the gym, but I find solace in feeling better about myself, having things fit a bit looser, and having the running and cardio come easier. I think my bodyfat is dropping if I may so so. My scale says it is, but you can really trust that too much. I am happy with my progress so far, dropping 7 pounds of fat in 3 weeks. If I reach 10lbs by a month, I will be happy. Today was my day off, so no cardio or workout.

    Day 1: 229.6 LBS
    Day 8 : 226 LBS
    Day 15: 223.9 LBS
    Day 22: 222.8 LBS

    February 4 - Day 23

Hit the gym hard today as I wasnt happy at all with my weigh in. Made sure I did an ample amount of cardio as well. Kept the diet clean as well. Will be hitting the gym all week hard, as SuperBowl Sunday is coming up, and is the ONLY time I will have alcohol for 3-4 months.

    February 5 - Day 24

Kept the diet clean as always, hit a good chest/tri workout today and got my cardio in, nothing too new to report today.

    February 6 - Day 25

Feeling really good today! I don't know why, but I seem to have some really good energy flowing. Hit the gym for Shoulders and really pumped it. I gradually am adding a bit more weight on every workout. Lifting heavier to build some more muscle and burn fat quicker, as I am told. Diet was kept in check, and made some lean turkey burgers today, delicious!

Super Bowl is tomorrow, definitely am going to get drunk and cheat big time. Probably get blackout drunk even. Really am going to hit the gym hard today and hit cardio just as hard. Also noting everything I am putting in my body as diet MUST be as clean as possible today.

    February 7 - Day 26

Super Bowl day. Had breakfast after cardio in the morning. Hit the gym really hard with some heavy lifting with some core circuit workout to get the HR fired up, then after my PWO shake did HIIT to get the metabolism flaring and hopefully will continue to do so as I get into the rest of the evening as I get drunk and watch the Colts lose.

Thanks man, really nice and inspirational of you to say, helps alot!

    February 8 - Day 27

Diet was clean and worked out really hard today. Definitely going to be sore in the morning. Getting the hang of packing meals and everything seems easier to maintain and much more organized. Plus walking to class and back provides some decent exercise too. Considering there and back is 50 minutes and I do it 2x daily sometimes.

    February 9 - Day 28

Weigh-in day tomorrow. Kept the diet really clean and hit the gym hard and did all of my cardio, morning and night. With the very bad Sunday night I had with the cheating, definitely want to not let the scales reflect it. Even if I lose 1 lb I will be happy!

    February 10 - Day 29

So it is weigh-in day, and quite frankly I am surprised! Coming into the day I thought I would be fully ashamed of the cheat I had on Sunday, and would be happy with maintaining my weight from last week, or if I even lost a pound I'd be thrilled. My previous weight last week was 222.8 and this morning I was 220.7! AWESOME!! Two pounds, even with the bad day. This of course does not mean I will have these more frequently, as I now wonder how much I could have lost if I didn't do that. Regardless, very happy with my performance and a definite boost. In addition, my scales says I dropped another 1% in BF now at 25.8%, but I know these are inaccurate, but I'll take any motivating factors to keep me positive. Also, as promised, this marks my first month done, so I will now post some progress pictures as well as can be seen below.

    Day 1: 229.6 LBS
    Day 8 : 226 LBS
    Day 15: 223.9 LBS
    Day 22: 222.8 LBS
    Day 29: 220.7 LBS

Progress Pictures are attached below, and are labelled with the dates accordingly.

Thanks twist, I owe a lot of the help to you from the diet section. Really changed my diet around and incorporated a lot more real food in there to help me out. I definitely feel more energized and seem to have more strength in the gym and via cardio, so definite thanks!

Hey no problem man. It is the one or two posts like yours that keep me coming back to this site to try to help people. most people take the advice and run and either give up, or never come back to show their progress. Great Job, keep up the good work.

My rest day is the day in which I have made where I don't do any cardio or weight training. Currently I am doing cardio 6 days a week with weight training at 5 days.

Yeah I was thinking that, but, it is possibly that I am just storing so much damn BF. When I get down to roughly 10% over the period of time of dieting and working out and it is still there, then I think I may have to seek other options. I really hope not, I am in high hopes it will just go down.

    February 18 - Day 37

Hey everyone. Have been on my spring break and me and my friends decided to rough it in the wild for the week off. Therefore, no internet. However, I got back today. Weighed in, and am now 218.9 LBS, which means I have now lost 11 pounds, which is awesome! In the forest, I ran a lot using the terrain to my advantage, and did a lot of body weight exercises; push-ups, dips, squats, etc. This for the fact I didn't have weights in the forest of course. Anyways, I plan to keep up the diary as the days go on. Just had to create the update.

    Day 1: 229.6 LBS
    Day 8 : 226 LBS
    Day 15: 223.9 LBS
    Day 22: 222.8 LBS
    Day 29: 220.7 LBS
Day 37 [should have been day 36]: 218.9 LBS

All the best to you my friend! Start a log, it's the best thing I have done on this journey.

    ----------------------------------------

    February 19 - Day 38

Just took it easy today, stuck to my diet. Didn't do cardio in the morning, however I did walk my dog for thirty minutes. Hit the gym for a nice shoulder workout. Felt nice to get back in there.

    February 20 - Day 39

Today my mom came back from a trip, so we went for sushi. This was my treat for the week.Thinking back as I wrote this, damn man, i love sushi! Hit the gym for a chest/tri/cardio workout after I let the sushi digest for a bit.

    February 21 - Day 40

Heading back to school today. Since I will be on the road most of the day, and will be exhausted. I will use this as my rest day. This was for the best as I went right to bed when i got back to school, slept for 11 hours haha. Tomorrow I plan on switching my diet style to a more keto based adherence. I am anxious to compare the different styles, as I have always done 40/40/20. I have consulted TOP, and his thread as well as doing some independent research around the board and other sites. I am excited to try this out for 40 days as well and see which works better.

    February 22 - Day 41

First day of my keto diet. Started off quite nicely with a scoop of whey, 3 eggs, w/ 2 pieces of rye toast [that's all of my carbs for the day basically]. Delicious! Hit the gym already for a back/bi/ab. Was feeling great. Still tweaking my diet for the new style. If anyone has any suggestions for some fats that are low in carbs, feel free to share!

    February 23 - Day 42

Keto diet still coming along quite nicely. I feel like I am actually lifting easier at the gym, contrary to some people's problems I have read about. I do feel a bit sluggish in the afternoon however. A bit lethargic, if you will. Other than that, went in for a nice shoulder workout. Feel great, shoulders are my favourite day. Tomorrow is my weigh in day, and will also come with progress pics, so look out for those. I woke up late today, so i couldn't do my morning cardio due to almost missing class, and the gym closed before I could do it this evening. I did play dodge-ball though, and gave it 110% out there, which is pretty exhausting stuff. Anyways, i look forward to tomorrow.

    February 24 - Day 43

Hey guys, sorry to be posting so late. I did take my pictures this morning along with my weight. I did go up a bit in weight, but I think that is from switching to a keto style diet. It definitely does not discourage me as my body fat still goes down on my scale [when it reaches about 15% I plan on getting water tested]. Anyways I weighed in today at 219.4, an increase of .5 lbs. not too bad, but definitely would have rather seen a loss. But the wheels keep turning. I feel like when i took these pictures this morning I was carrying some water weight, but I guess it will have to wait until next progress update to show otherwise. Anyways, here are my totals so far, along with pictures beneath. Enjoy.

    ------------------------------

    Day 1: 229.6 LBS
    Day 8 : 226 LBS
    Day 15: 223.9 LBS
    Day 22: 222.8 LBS
    Day 29: 220.7 LBS
    Day 36: 218.9 LBS
    Day 43: 219.4 LBS

    ------------------------------

Goes in order, first being Day 1, then Day 36, then Day 43. They are labeled regardless.

    February 25 - Day 44

Just took it easy today. Heavy class day. Kept the diet clean as I made all my meals prior. I am starting to feel a bit lethargic, but I won't blame the keto for that, I will blame lack of sleep. Going to hit the gym hard today. I feel like my muscles are getting a bit tighter to my skin. Seems neat.

    February 25 - Day 45

Same old same old in regards to the sched. Stuck to my reg diet, I feel like I am really giving it my all in the gym. It seems that I am not lifting any more than I did, but what I am lifting is getting fairly fluid and I am able to squeeze out a few more reps. After carb load, probably try and up my weights in general.

    February 26 - Day 45

The gym today was rough. It was my full body workout day [deads, squats, bent rows, etc] as my carb load is tomorrow. I was pretty gassed, definitely feeling the effects of the lack of carbs today. Can't wait for tomorrow when I get to eat a bunch of carbs all day. I will probably stick to about 500-700gram range tomorrow.

    February 27 - Day 46

Awwww yaaaaaa. Carb load day. Ordered myself a pizza, no cheese and just bbq sauce base and chicken on top. Look forward to it. Currently cooking up about 12 pancakes as well. Got myself some low fat ice cream too just as a little treat. I am sure I will have a horrible stomach ache tonight. No gym today during carb load, just a day of leisure. This will be fun!

    February 28 - Day 47

Alright, so carb load was fun, but boy is it HARD to eat that many carbs. I was really full the whole day. After awhile, it definitely wasn't fun anymore haha. One thing I did notice this morning when I woke up though was, My muscles felt harder and I felt more revitalized. Quite a cool feeling. In addition, I sweat so MUCH during my sleep last night. I wonder why? I have heard of this happening I just don't know what causes it. Hitting the gym soon, I am sure I will be able to really pump it today!

Looking good man, congratulations on making a great start. About the clen, I would loose as much as you can without it first. It looks like your loosing really well right now.

Alot can be done with diet manipulation and cardio to loose fat, I would leave the clen out mate.

Congratulations again, keep up the great work. No doubt your going to be an inspiration to many.

Hey guys! Sorry for not posting in a long time!

I finished my school and am now working at a gold mine for the summer. Only problem is there is limited access to internet as it is so far up north in Canada and I dont have my camera to take a photo. Thus far, I just stuck to my Keto diet, and it worked well as I put on muscle and lost a good amount of weight.

Since I have started I have lost 32 lbs but I havent been able to check my BF% as I dont have the tools. However, I can see definition really starting to show so I am guessing I may be near 15-17% I have made some great strides and I cant wait until September when I get home to show you guys some pics@ Thanks for all the support and I will check this thread every chance I get!

    Hey guys,

Just wanted to give you an update on this thread and my progress as it has been along time due to the fact the internet here is almost non-existent. I haven't forgot about this place!

To date I have lost 49 pounds! I went from 229 to 180. I still have a bit of stubborn fat on me but it shouldn't be too hard. I started a new job here at the mine as a mucker [someone who just digs and moves rock all day, and i really giv'r'shit on it] and so far it has been excrutiating. 12 of my 49 lbs came in the last two weeks of work and this is on a 4000 calorie a day diet! All I do is shovel all day long [about 6-8 hours, 12 hour shift minus breaks of course] and then go and work out after work. I also do HIIT in the morning and at night pre-workout. I keep a lot of protein around with me, but it is hard to find good food to eat here, so I try and make wise decisions but on my two weeks off, that is when I eat healthiest. At the mine I am just trying to keep a good maintenance level. I wish I could post pictures, but those won't come till around september unfortunately.

Just wanted to say thanks for the support and Ill try and post when I can.

Hey thanks for the kind words Vishus, you are actually a member that really inspired me a lot during this with your posts and pictures, so I thank you.

I meant to put POST workout, no pre, so I apologize for that. Supplemented with protein right after my workout BEFORE cardio in the PM. I also switched from HIIT to steady state for 45 minutes as I go to bed within 30 minutes of doing my exercises due to the crazy schedule I work. I just wrote the post prior in notepad and copy and pasted and didn't check well enough I reckon. BUT if there are any holes let me know! I want to be doing this right, so I have a stable and steady guideline for the future.

Thanks again for the kind words man
