My HAW is Vietnamese. If she had her way she'd be eating pho every day!

Dude tell me about it. Every time we go out to eat she always wants Asian food.. Thai, Vietnamese, dim sum... If she had her choice we'd eat Asian all day everyday. Doesn't quite work for me but we compromise.

Oh Jesus, the dim sum. My HAW never let's up on that. It's okay once in a while but far too much deep frying and carbs and not enough protein for me.

Yeah it's great every once in a blue moon. Whenever we pass through NYC, we stop by chinatown and little Italy. She gets dim sum and I nibble, and then we go to Little Italy and I find a good pizza. Little tradition of ours.

Pho is a Vietnamese dish, so you probably won't find it at a Japanese restaurant.

I eat sushi at least three times a week. Often swing by for some salmon rolls after training. Wife makes great sushi as well. Love all kinds of sushi... Ever had sea urchin?

Can't say I have ever tried the urchin, but I do love eel rolls. I would eat sushi more if it was not so pricy, I limit myself to once a week. I will definitely look into the urchin tomorrow as I usually get sushi on Sundays.

Now the urchin is one of the most expensive types found in good sushi restaurants. In fact, you can't always find it. When you do, it has to be very very fresh... Bad urchin is very bad.. Good sea urchin is awesome. 2 pieces are anywhere from $10-15
