Enough said....
Ya defoe deserves his place, not sure if he'll get much game time though!!!
Ah agbonlahor did alright this season, last season he did better!! thing next world cup could be his time to shine along with ashley young!!
Forgettin James Milner could have a big part to play this year
England and Netherlands will choke as is usual of them. Germany, Argentina are way too old specially in the back four. Italy (my team) has a slim chance on Lippi alone. Spain should win it if they don't choke like they usually do. Offcourse one of those teams along with Brazil (which I know nothing of) will end up winning it as always.
Go the Aussies !! I know we have no chance but gotta back my home side and was good to see us beat the netherlands yesterday in a warm up match not sure if they had a full squad but. Im backing a spain v portugal final with portugal to win it with Ronaldo to get the golden boot the guy is a freak !
Theo Wallcott has been dropped from the England team.
Im utterly baffled at that decision.

Getting real excited now
Incase you havn't noticed...... the majority of americans could give a shit less about how good we are at the "biggest sport in the world" - all we care about is who wins the superbowl..... who wins the world series..... and how much propane is left in our tanks for the parties we have for both games.....
~Haz~
i dont get the hype with american football or ice hockey or baseball. whys it called football anyway, they use there hands more.
id rather watch golf
Italy will take it again!
For the record.....
2002 world cup - 1 million americans watched
2006 world cup - 2.6 million americans watched
America's paopulation - 309,463,579
2009 superbowl - 93.2 million Americans watched
- approx. 1 billion people world wide
1967 superbowl (1st superbowl) - approx. 22 million Americans watched
Current stats state that Americans think soccer sucks.....
~Haz~
Amerca doesent watch football (soccer), but the rest of the world does and they pray for 2years qualifying to get there!!! other countries only watch american football because its a cool thing to do, honestly thats the truth they think its just cool to watch it and have no interest!!
I think American's think it sucks mostly because we have no American players to get behind. and even MLS is very young as far as sports go.
on a bad day Man-u could still run the tables on MLS teams. and since American's in general are fair weather fans. I think its hard for them to cheer for teams they might never ever see.
though yes 93.2 million americans, 151 million world wide did watch the 2009 Super bowl that is nearly double the ten super bowls before it. So it is kind of rare..
the 2006 world cup avg 95 million viewers per match through the month long tournment. So by fair the world cup makes the super bowl look like an episode of crips on MTV..
The most popular regular-broadcast sports event and TV program is the English Premier League. It is broadcast to 600 million households in 202 countries and watched by more than 1.2 billion people per week. . .
007 can speak with me.. no NFL game can compete with watching Man-u play. (though I hate they lost Tevez and Ronaldo) . . Just because we as American's suck at the sport, we shouldn't act as if the sport itself sucks.
