Go to a local clinic and pay the $75 or whatever it is and take a basic STD test. I would hate for you to think you have hpv and it be something more serious. Not trying to freak you out but I would do this before continuing sexual contact with your girl.
welcome too the club she already has it but it might not show up in woman till long down the road so gl explaing like i had too .
i mean im almost 100% its genital warts, thats what it looks like the one below my dick head looks like it the other one is smaller and flatter but i dont think it could be anything else man and the doctor was like oh yea it looks just like that. and ive only got $28 to my name im in college in the dorm and have yet to find a job so im very limited on cash
oh yea and your 18 y the fck are u worried bout settling down are u fckin nuts 18 settling down wow get it in u only live once
Ok so I did some more in depth research for you.
Pregnancy: won't effect getting pregnant but can cause complications during pregnancy.
If it's the genital wart strand it more than likely will never go away but it can go into remission and not come back. The chance will always be there tho.
Apparently you can get warts in the mouth if you perform oral while there's an outbreak.
Personally I got lucky. I get a wart on my foot or ankle or on my hands sometimes so I won't get them on my genitals. Here's one of the articles I read and I apologize for any info I was off on in my previous posts.
What are Genital Warts?
Genital warts are the most easily recognized sign of genital human papilloma virus (HPV) infection. Warts are benign tumors of the epidermis. Some people will have a genital HPV infection without genital warts.
Genital warts are also called condylomata acuminata or venereal warts.
What causes Genital Warts?
Genital Warts are caused by certain types of human papilloma virus.
Can Human Papilloma Virus cause other kinds of warts?
Yes. Some types of human papilloma virus cause common skin warts, such as those found on the hands and soles of the feet. These types of human papilloma virus do not cause genital warts.
Where EXACTLY are Genital Warts?
In women, the warts occur on the outside and inside of the vagina, on the opening (cervix) to the womb (uterus), or around the anus. In men, genital warts are less common. If present, genital warts are usually on the tip of the penis. They also may be found on the shaft of the penis, on the scrotum, or around the anus. Genital warts can also develop in the mouth of a person who has had oral sexual contact with an infected person.
Genital warts often occur in clusters and can be very tiny or can spread into large masses in the genital or anal area.
If left untreated, genital warts may eventually develop a fleshy, cauliflower-like appearance. In some cases, the warts may disappear.
How are Genital Warts spread?
Genital warts are very contagious and are spread during oral, genital, or anal sex with an infected partner. About two-thirds of people who have sexual contact with a partner with genital warts will develop warts. Development of genital warts usually occurs within three months of contact.
How are Genital Warts diagnosed?
A doctor or other health care worker usually can diagnose genital warts by seeing them on a patient. Women with genital warts also should be examined for possible HPV infection of the cervix.
Women can take a Pap smear test to check for presence of human papilloma virus infection on the cervix. In a Pap smear, a laboratory worker examines cells scraped from the cervix under a microscope to see if they are cancerous. If a woman’s Pap smear is abnormal, she might have an HPV infection. If a woman has an abnormal Pap smear, she should have her doctor examine her further to look for and treat any cervical problems.
Can Genital Warts be Treated?
Yes. Depending on factors such as the size and location of the genital warts, a doctor will offer you one of several ways to treat them. You should discuss treatment options with your doctor.
Sometimes genital warts will disappear without treatment. In other cases, they eventually may develop a fleshy, small raised growth that looks like cauliflower. There is no way to predict whether the warts will grow or disappear. If you suspect you have genital warts, you should be examined and treated, if necessary.
Will Genital Warts Reappear?
Warts may return, even after treatment. The warts may reappear because the virus stays in your skin once you are infected. You can pass the virus to your sex partners during vaginal or anal sex, even when you don't have warts you can see.
Complications of Genital Warts and HPV
Cancer
Some types of HPV can cause cervical cancer, vulvar cancer, anal cancer, and cancer of the penis.
Pregnancy and Childbirth
Genital warts may cause a number of problems during pregnancy. Sometimes genital warts get larger during pregnancy, making it difficult to urinate. If the warts are in the vagina, they can make the vagina less elastic and cause obstruction during delivery.
In rare cases, infants born to women with genital warts develop warts in their throats. Although uncommon, it is a potentially life-threatening condition for the child, requiring frequent laser surgery to prevent obstruction of the breathing passages.
cyounger1000 already went through a whole manwhore phase when i was alot younger started alot earlier went through alot more and finished alot sooner than most guys lol. now I am as happy as can be i got a girl who is cool as hell and who i love to death. Not saying im getting married tomorrow or anything but she is worth it to me to make things work.
And thanks for all that info stack it that makes me feel a little better except for the eating out thing man i love doing that...on her at least lol, and i dont wanna get warts on my face from it but who knows. Honestly i wish there was a way to tell and for the doctor to be like actually she gave it to you, i wouldnt be mad at all and then that way she couldnt be upset either lol
She could have easily given it to you. Just try to pitch it as you both have it regardless of who had it first so let's move on.
yea its all good man she actually took it well once i got it across to her that i didnt cheat on her or anything like that. She was like well it doesnt matter now because im sure ive got it too so she was like i just gotta go to one of those clinics and get checked out just to be sure
Glad to hear she took it well.
yea man and talked to her on the phone for awhile tonight and she seemed perfectly fine and didnt even bring it up. Its all good as long as its not like a really serious strain or anything like that i just care about her man ill live but i dont want anything going wrong with her
your over reacting its just a pimple, pop it!
im just kidding and ya she should be fine unless she gets a wart then youll probably never hear the end of it
yea i tried telling her i might have gotten it from her tonight and that didnt go over so well lol but she has never had any signs or symptoms and hasnt been with many people. but idk i just dont see why i would just now have an outbreak if its been like 8 months since ive been with anyone else but that was with a condom and about 9 months since i did without one on someone else. and ive never cheated on her so who knows. She had had the usual checkup before we started dating and everything was normal so who knows
Oh hell, seriously?! A little selfish are we??? Precancerous cells untreaded turn into CANCER, anyone who has HPV should be honest with his/her partner. There are a lot of women out there that loose the ability to have children bc people dont use condoms. Seems like DP posted a thread about using condoms, and in that thread I posted about HPV, and how it mainly effects women. I am sure if it gave guys test cancer (which it can, just not as common) then men would wrap that shit more often...
I know I have not posted and sorry for the soapbox, but it is something I fight for awareness on and it hits home.
LOL Hate to RESURRECT THIS THREAD.. but... i just noticed this post. She Said to be OPEN n' HONEST but this FEMALE HERE, NEVER INFORMED ME of her HPV VIRUS before i slept with her.. n' now im the Lucky carrier of the HPV Strain that is responsible for Genital Warts.. YAY!!! but sadly this strand also has the highest probability of manifesting itself in a cancerous form.. most often ANAL cancer... not anal cancer for me but for the receiver... so who wants some.. LINE UP!

Just had a buddy of mine point out this thread n' the comment an Ex' of mine made. My current Woman had to Undergo a hysterectomy due to the fact i gave her HPV which i received from previous i.d.'ed source.

Also there is a shot for girls that fight the main viruses of HPV, have your girl look into it.
im not selfish im looking out for her thats my main concern i just said it could have been her because everyone was saying to me that there was a good chance it was i never accused her whatsoever. But yea she is going to the doc in like a week or two to go get a checkup on everything but im sure either she has it now or she gave it to me because we have been having sex the past 6 months but ive never had an outbreak or had any clue i had it until this past week
I would never condone anyone doing at home treatments for warts but I also believe in having all knowledge of all available options. Therefore, I have read about people having success using dr sholls wart remover on genital warts. Not sure I would be willing to try it out on myself though.
yea i thought about doing that to get rid of them quicker but he gave me medicine to put on them thats supposedly really strong and apparently it can transfer 24/7 with signs or not so i guess its just more of for aesthetic reasons to get rid of them...but i sure know i dont want them there lol
http://www.womentowomen.com/understa...arsandhpv.aspx
these website explained alot and im telling my gf to look at it too so it can help explain everything since it could have come from either one of us
That was directed at the comments saying it is not as bad as you think. For men it isnt, but for women it is, so saying it is not as bad as you think is a selfish statement for a male to make. If the tables were turned it would be that big of a deal. If men thought it was that big of a deal maybe they would want to wrap it more, and it would not be as wide spread as it is..
With that being said at any moment the girl could insist that guys wear one, and it is our fault if we dont make you. I am just saying HPV needs more awareness.
They're like little badges of honer that you snip off with a pocket knife when you want to change things up in the bedroom.
I think the board has HPV and just had a break out ! Its all different .
yea lol seems like alot of people on here have it and considering it said online that condoms help but still dont to much when it comes to hpv because if there is a little ball smack to the vagina it can transfer it lol
ok so any opinions on if we just shouldnt have sex this weekend, i should wear a condom, or what?
Honestly..... if you are ever going to have sex w/ her without a condom again then wrapping it up this time doesn't matter. Just wrap it up every time here on out until you find out she has it..... could be weeks, months, or even longer. It just depends on if it's in remission when she gets tested.
Since you KNOW you have it..... then you will risk giving it to her EVERY time you have sex with her if it's unwrapped..... even if you don't have a break out.
~Haz~
so i mean its pretty much a guarantee she has it then because we have never used a condom and ive been with her for the past 6 months and havent so much as messed with another girl but ive never had an outbreak until not long ago
Listen dont worry too much a lot of people have it.. and sometimes they dont even know, for all you know maybe your girl was the one that gave it to you....the good news is that if your inmune system is strong you may eliminate all traces of the virus in two years or so....for some unlucky ones thou, their inmune system is not very strong and they keep the virus for life... Antibiotics wont do the trick as hpv is inmune to even penicillin. The bad news is that if you had a strong inmune system you wouldnt have developed the wart. By the way you never mention a blood test, i suggest you get your blood tested for all STD's. Other than that good luck my friend.
Look into Oil of Oregano.

the warts were gone by friday night sooo i felt much better about myself and if they come back I have plenty of that medicine left so that should do the trick it worked great
There is a lot of bad information in this thread. When I was in undergrad, there was a large study going on at my university on HPV. Additionally, we have discussed this particular virus in a few of my classes. It can and does cause Oropharyngeal cancer (Throat Cancer), as well as neck cancer. It also increases the risk of anogenital cancers. It is a serious virus. However, there are a number of strains for the virus. Virus's undergo mutations constantly, and so, the Guardasil vaccine is only able to protect against the most dangerous strains (and I believe it provides immunity for 9 strains). However, its important to realize that if the virus mutates it may be impervious to the vaccination.
Here are a few articles you can read to familiarize yourself with the virus. If you are science inclined you can find more technical articles on PubMed.

yup there is no test for warts. they are diagnosed by sign only. Woman will need to have their junked checked every 2 years or so to check for cervial cancer and as for men there is really no harm just a hurt ego. no worries. and it actaully almost a guarentee she has it my friend. nothing to stress about. you can opt to tell her or not but it would only benifit he to know. cervical cancer is one of the leading killers of woman next to breat cancer
Wrong wrong wrong... If he or she contracts strain 16 or 18 then their chances of cancer on both of their sex organs goes up dramatically, as much as 15 fold. HPV has a culmulative affect on the DNA of cells in the area that they effect. Thats why the risk increases over time.
Yea I told her about 5 minutes after I found out and she was pretty ticked thinking I cheated on her or something but then I started telling her about it and that i didnt cheat and everything and it was ok. But she is going to get checked out next week I think just to be sure. But thegodfather I heard some of the strains have a lifetime and eventually will die. I dont feel like I had anything severe it was 2 small warts kinda flatter I caught them within a week or so and got rid of them in about 3 days of the medicine. Im supposed to take it twice a day for 3 days then take 4 off then again for 3 days if I need it, I think there is just a little sign of them still being there so im gonna go ahead and do one more cycle of that medicine just to be sure they are gone
I see..Aldara is one choice, but I would have went with Cantharadine instead. It's a chemical synthesized from a beetle, but its incredibly effective and only needs 1 application unlike Aldara. The problem is bro, that even with no visible signs, the virus is still present. There is no way to know what strains you have without doing a Western Blot or other tests which can read the specific RNA sequence of the viral cells (Such as via Polymerase Chain Reaction in an electrophoresis chamber). It's just good to know about the risk factors, so that if you do notice a change you can seek medical attention immediately.
The doctor prescribed me this stuff called Podofilox it did a pretty good job at first it seemed like they were getting worse then on the third day i took the little application stick thick before i put it on and kinda scratched over them and they pretty much scrapped off lol it made me happy to see them disappear. But im just mainly concerned about my girl I just dont want it turning into cancer or anything on her so im gonna make sure she gets checked out. I was just kinda worried about eating her out man. I love that shit soooo much (with her) but I was just a little worried about the whole mouth warts thing that shit would be ****ing nasty.
