Well I dont really max out but these are what I have done .. Bench: 225lbs for 6. This is by far my weakest. Squat- 330lbs for 5. Deadlift 405 for 2 or 495 for 1. Haven't gone for max lifts for a while and those lifts were about 6 months ago so I expect are a bit higher now but when I attempt them and find out I will post it . I haven't any pics on here to send you at the moment but I will try and get some and link you them. Thanks.

That bench press stat was actually 12 months ago and I haven't attempted to beat it yet because I injured my shoulder and it's only just got better I will train hard so I can get upto 405 bench press haha . The other 2 lifts were about 6-7 months ago and I will also attempt to beat them soon

i really dont mean to discourage you, but with those lifts i'd say you're very far from ever being a pro mate. very little are gifted enough to make it. i'd honestly say, leave the gear out for at least 6yrs, you've plenty natty ability at your age and will continue to have for along time, i lifted natty from age 17 and didnt really max out til i was 30-31 and with better early dietary knowledge i could have done alot better. and tbh steroids didnt blow me up half as much as i though they would. there wasnt any top notch resource like the internet then, when i started, take advantage of it and get tht diet perfected. creatine, aminos, hmb, zma and multivits re all you need on top of a solid diet. dont rely heavily on shakes either, twice a day is plenty

thts a major weight diff btween a double and a single dlift?

Regarding diet and training.. I think I have a fairly good understanding of it (I'm not saying I know everything or more than anyone else because you can always learn) I seem to grow whatever kind of training I do because I switch it around all the time so my body doesn't get use to it. Diet wise I am currently at: Pro-1.5Xbodyweight, Carbs-2.4Xbodyweight, Fat-0.7Xbodyweight or somewhere around that whicn I grow really well from but that will change all the time I never stick to 1 thing forever you know . Thanks.
Good call about waiting. Yes keep experimenting with your routine and get to know your body. Read and learn a lot, it will pay of it the end. Bodybuilding is a marathon brother, yup don't have to go all out at once. Maybe you will change you mind and decide to wait longer too. Good luck.

dec11- Dont worry you haven't . The bench press was done with less than a years proper knowledge about nutrition and training and only just 17. And a 495 deadlift at 17 and a half isn't that bad surely? The reason there's a big difference is the 405 for 2 was done at the end of a back workout and the 495 for 1 was done at the start of the workout a few weeks later. But for me it's more about muscle growth than strength, which I seem to do ok in .

dec11 is right about two BIG points.

    1) You are still, to some degree going through puberty up till and including your 25th year.

Something that never seems to come up and that I can promise you should effect your decision making (and all other young guys) is penis size. No I am not kidding.

AAS can and probably will effect penis size negatively if you are not finished with puberty. The explanation is simple; your full penis size is a genetically predetermined thing but is realized or not realized depending on many factors including but not limited to nutrition, sleep, contact with malleable plastics, pesticides and of course aas. To keep this brief I am only going to address the aas and it should seem obvious after that.

When you take aas you increase test levels among other things. The human body has a set point for all hormones and will attempt to remain at that point. It does this by shutting down your own production of test and raising your own levels of estrogen. Contrary to almost everything you will read estrogen does play an important part in building muscle. More importantly though, it sabotages your body's potential for reaching your genetically predetermined maximum penis size. When you go off aas, with or without PCT, it takes time for your test levels to come back to normal(if they ever do). In the meantime your penis has stopped growing.

So you ask, "didn't it grow more while I was on aas?" Unfortunately, no. Test, estrogen and all other hormones have receptor sites that are akin to fitting a key in a lock. AAS in the form of test does fit into our test receptors but it is not a perfect fit and therefor is not as effective as an equal amount of our own natural test. We would more than make up for this with the fact that we are flooding the body with extra test except for one thing. The increased estrogen in our system is our own and as a matter of course fits perfectly into the estrogen receptor sites. Nolvadex, clomid etc help keep estrogen to a "safe" level but only to the extent that you have a match proportionally between your original test and estrogen levels. This can, (not "will") prevent gyno etc. What it will not do is keep your (if not now, then soon and inevitably to be) favorite part growing. The reason for this is that human genitals are the most easily effected body part when it comes to changes in hormones prior to the end of puberty and the proportionally increased estrogen and test will take up residence in their respective receptor sites; including the ones effecting the genitals. Unfortunately the estrogen will fit correctly 100% of the time. The test will fit to some undetermined lesser degree. And the end result is not a shrinking penis but one that will NEVER reach it's full potential. Hang on because it is about to get so much worse...

Size matters! Not to some women. Not to most women. To all (heterosexual) women! I grew up with three sisters and they were kind enough (or evil enough, depending on your perspective) to let me behind the proverbial curtain on all things female. That is the ugly truth. I don't care what you read or where you read it, I just laid out the facts for you. No pun intended. If a woman tells you size doesn't matter you can probably go ahead and start feeling self conscious. Sorry.

Alright, so maybe my sisters were evil and screwing with me right? No. I am no porn star but I did get a little lucky (He's a fair god. I have the worst genetics for bodybuilding.) and am on the far side of the bell curve. I mention this because I have had a terrible time finding someone that is willing to spend their life with me. I am OCD and difficult at best. I am 41, a serial monogamist and have had 5 long term relationships. Of those 5, an unsolicited 3 of them (including the one I just married) revealed that they only stuck around as long as they did out of fear of not finding someone else that was... um... "as healthy." Yes. size matters.

    So don't jeopardize your potential!

If it is any consolation to everyone that read this and is now freaked out, I am very self conscious about my size in spite of being somewhat lucky. Short of having a unit that is unusable most guys will always have some concern/doubts so don't sweat it... But For Pete's Sake Don't Knowingly Limit Yourself!!!

    2) This should be all but irrelevant after what you just read but if you really want to pursue pro BB, post lots of clean pics both flexed and relaxed. Believe it or not, the relaxed shots will be more telling. Some things we will be looking at are fullness and width of muscle bellys, and size of insertions. The biggest thing young bodybuilders overlook when daydreaming about becoming a pro is insertion size. They have to be tiny. Small insertions with full muscle bellys are incredibly rare and if you are even borderline you WILL NOT be a pro BB. Pros are not only on an insane number and volume of AAS, they are on a virtually unending list of other drugs and hormones. You WILL have to use growth hormone to compete on a national level and it will increase your insertion size. So again, if you are even borderline you will not make it.
#1 example of small insertions with full muscle bellys: Flex Wheeler. IMHO

    A couple more points:

You will die before your time if you become a pro BB. This is not up for debate other than on a philosophical level. Your liver and kidneys will be worn out early. The constant physical pain will take a toll on your enlarged heart and your cholesterol levels will lead to stroke/Alzheimer's or both. There is a longer list but no one will argue this so there isn't much point of expounding on it.

Ronny Coleman was on AAS from a very young age including while he was an officer of the law.

Becoming a pro BB is staggeringly expensive and almost never pays for itself.

You are far more likely to win the lottery, become a movie star, rock star, football star etc than become Mr Olympia. There was actually a study done on this that determined that even though it doesn't bear true statistically, your odds of hitting the lotto jackpot are far better than becoming MR O. Primarily because lotto is luck and Mr O is a combination of luck/genetics, money, hard work and borderline psychopathic determination. You need all those ingredients to win the Mr O. All you need to win the lotto is luck.

    Good Luck!

I did choose to wait and have been doing research in the meantime. But what I still dont get is this if there's a teen who post's on these forums about wanting to be a pro bodybuilder and starting aas everyone says you will burn out and have loads of health probs etc. But then when a guy does very well in bodybuilding who started aas in his teens everyone's kissing his ass... So if the guys who you look up to in the sport started aas in their teens and had great success why shouldn't you? It seems very contradicting.. 'Yes he started at 18 then went onto mr.0 but you must not start because you wont do very well and will burn out' see my point???

Btw sorry to start up an old post but this still bugs me alot!

    Thanks for reply's.

these guys are 1 in 100000 and its obvious to those in the know tht they have what it takes. now that said, i still dont agree with youngsters on here coming on and saying 'but i wana be a pro'. theres only one sub 25yr old on here who has got a good competitive chance, now thts 1 in how many? see my point?
ive only come across two truely gifted athletes in my entire 18yrs following a competitive plifting lifestyle, only two, and even one of them couldnt get past European comp standards!! very very little have what it takes

That's a good point. But on the otherhand if you dont put everything into something you will never know how well you could of done. Jay Cutler for example when he started bodybuilding he didn't know for sure that he would become mr.0 but he decided that's what he wanted to aim for and put his all into it and it paid off. I'm sure their's many guys who have done the same thing though and haven't even placed in a amateaur comp. I'm just pointing out thought that somone's gotta have 'what it takes' right? And you never know for sure that it's not you .
