damn i 4got the recently deceased gary moore (thin lizzy)
seen em in concert I'm guessing thrice or twice..... as a technician I'd give him a B... creativity a b-.... overall rockability a B
B- cause they play the same songs all the time in concert
and damn, i also 4got randy rhoads!!
yes, randy rhoades.... a very good b+ sorta chap..... but not what I consider that elite cream of the crop type.... but damn good to listen.... he and Ozzy had some excellent chemistry
slash?
I don't know too much about slash besides mtv and listening tothe music... never seen live in concert.... what i hear technically i like, but not sure if he is at the level as Kirk Hammett from Alchoholica, I mean Metallica. From his recordings, he definately has technical skill, and blends harmonically with Axle, but I don't know... The part I don't like is the lack of success of velvet revolver.... Even Sammy hagar, who I'd give a B- to from a technical perspective, was ALWAYS a success no matter where he went, and he is in his 60's. Slash did very well for a few years with Axle, then began to fade. the grade I give him for his GNR work would be different than the grade I would give him for is VR work. I don't like the lack of consistancy. Because of this, I give him an over all B.
