well lucky for me i have nice thick calves(hereditary) and theres no fat there.. i can see striations and pinched the skin and literally no fat(wish it was like that everywhere )but the calf is a muscle and since the fat is so thin it seemd like itd be a good candidate for the 30gauge 1/2" slin pin ...

yea but you have to consider veins and nerves! not really sure how much and where!

if you're asking about the SQ injection yes the site is still swollen and painful when i press the area! no pain whatsoever when i inject, its the next day and after that the area gets hard, swollen and sore! if this continues I'll go back to the IM injections. i already bought 1ml syringes with luer lock so i can accurately measure 50mgs!

I was wondering bout that... Do u just go to the pharmacy and tell them wat i need and they give it to me or do u get them prescribed or how does tat work?

Most kf the time you have to have a script on file with them that requires them

Not really, depends on your state. Some states have clean needle programs that allow anyone to get needles without scripts. California, Oregon, etc

Im askn cuz if endo prescribes me a big IM needle and i decide to do sub q or whatever will i run into a problem ???

Your script will say take 200ml twice a month IM so they will sell you 23, 21, 25 gauge 1 inch to 2 inch ,I dout they will sell you one to do it subQ when your script says IM. Idk they may just sell insulin pins to anyone pretend your having a diabetic spell!!

just buy em online, this way you can get exactly what you want, they're very cheap! check your PM!

well its been 1 week since blood drawn from endo.. stil waiting to find out results and why im low t.. meanwhile i have 10ml of test sitting at home just begging to be injected.. this waiting on doc thing fcuking sux man! tired of being tired

WelL i got labs in.. Finally .. Doc said hes gonna start me on trt but as a precaution ordered an mri on my pituitary gland which they said is standard.. My numbers reflect no prob with pituitary but they want to err to the side of caution which seemd like a good thorough practice to me.. Anyways the only 2 numbers i got (which i thought were most important) was free test and E2...

Free:7.3 (8.7-25.1)
E2:25.1

I believe tats a good range for my E2 is it not?

Now all i have to do is wait for mri whi h should be next week..

well MRI tuesday.. she said i should have results thursday.. so.. another week.. i askd after that when and how would i start my trt and she said "dont u have another appt with the doc already?" i said "yeh but it isnt for 6 weeks" she said .."he may want to see u before then".. i said.."i hope so!" man id hate to be on "go" and have to wait 5 freaking weeks to get started .. goodness!

ive read a little on here about guys asking how others are sleeping as a symptom of low test and i was wondering if my sleep may be affected by starting trt?? rite now i sleep great! never had a prob with sleep.. fall asleep at drop of a hat and sleep all nite except sometimes get up in middle of nite to take a leak.. do NOT want that to change

I did get them though and it was fine .. So now im wondering what exactly is causing my low test??? Results showd low test free and total and that was all that was abnormal??? What does that mean??? The old nutsack just aint wat it should be???

Also got go ahead for trt just waitn on cAllbak to tell me wat to do.. I suppose theyll want me to come in to show me how to give myself a shot? Hope itsntomorrow...

Still like my 25g 5/8 in the delts.
Very interesting thread keep us posted 405 on how this plays out. Sounds like the endo may be a good bet if not you have a back up plan.

When doing IM you want it deep into the muscle.

1" is recommended for quads.

I'm currently using 27 gauge 1 1/4" and leaving about 1/4 - 1/2" out.

My doctor must hate me, she gave me 1.25" inch 21 gauge and told me to stick it in at least an inch. Its a little like being shot with an arrow everytime I inject. I should grab some smaller needles to inject and just use the 21's to draw from the vial.

ok will do.. now i got the green light for injects.. first shot tonight.. have to pick up script at 1800.. will post mgs once i get it.. they want me to start at 1.5ml every 2 weeks.. i figd id go for .75ml every week and see how that does.. what do yall think? im curious as to whether its 100mg/ml or 200mg/ml.. if 100mg/ml then ill be at 75mg/week.. yall think thats a good starting point??? no mention of ai or hcg but i do have an appt on 12/15... my baseline E2 was 24.1 so i suppose ill be ok til then?? without an AI?? im pretty paranoid when it comes to E2 levels..just from wat all ive read..i def dont want to deal w gyno so this is the moment ive been waiting for! im excited!

oh man you're going to die without AI! LOL! i think you'll be fine for few days without AI but you will need it for sure. most likely its 200mgs/1ml, and you are smart splitting the dose to weekly, or even better twice a week especially if they're not going to put you on AI immediately. ask them to show you how to do it otherwise see this video, better yet go with SQ injections
