Dallas Performance. They got their start doing a lot of Corvettes and then Vipers. Now they do everything. Currently focusing on Gallardos. Stage 1 gets 1050hp. Insanity. I think Stage 3 with race mods produces 1,400hp. Insanity.

The nice thing about winning the lotto is having enough money not to care what you spend it on. Personally though i would invest and save around 3/4s of my winnings. I watched a family friend go bankrupt 6 years after winning a $14 million dollar lottery. That is one mistake i will never make

I'd get me a house and a stereo and a garage and probably a CLK Black like Mr gixer they have a write up about the CLK black V the M3 GTS( or R) it could can't remamber and to be honest the CLK is just a hooligan of a car

Other than that just a load of cars and gymming that be it, be class to not have to do work etc.

I am down with the whole Z06 Vette with mods thing.

I have had a number of race cars, race bikes etc. To me the design, assembly and refinement is what is so fulfilling compared to just being rich and plunking down the money and turning the key. My last drag car was 3350 lbs and about a thousand base hp on the motor. During the time I had it, I took it from one 200hp kit, to 3 kits 200, 250 and 350 (700 additional hp total) it was so damn much fun progressing through the tuneups and finally dipping into the sevens in the quarter, all in a car with power windows and a 10.5 wide slick.

Now if I did hit the lottery, one of the projects I have always wanted to do was to build a billet block and other parts so that I could use hyabusa jugs and heads and build a V/8 of about 3 liters with turbos pushing around 800 reliable hp ( it would be easy to get 1200 in drag race form but for road racing with a torque curve 800 would be a good number) and mate it to a 6 speed gearbox. I would house the whole deal in a chromoly frame with a carbon body. To me this would be an absolute grin to drive on a road coarse or the street and could probably be built for under a hundred grand so it would far from break the bank.

Another hundred would be needed for the garage and the rest of the money for legal defense and bail LOL

Don't forget to get number 6 too. They won't give you the jackpot unless you hit all 6 (...but...you already knew that).

    ;-)

I hear/read stories like this all the time. What is it with people and money? They have no idea about budgeting? It pisses me off, my 2nd ex we had live insurance policies on each of is, $250,000 and when she died 4 years after we split her kid who had just turned 18 got it. I tried, my daughter tried and his aunt tried to talk him into either putting most of it into a CD or some type of fund or at least buying a home. He was sure it would last forever. It was 100% gone in less than a year and all he had to show for it was a motorcycle that he totaled.

No matter how much you get/win it's best to invest in something tangible. Even if you sell it later at a loss you still have something of value. Investments, ventures and speculations are all fine but it's stupid to go crazy. One thing I have always said is even if I was RICH, multi millionaire I would not buy $500 shoes, $5000 suit, $10,000 watch or throw $500,000 parties....

I remember watching an investigation program on the winners of that Megabucks jackpot slot in Vegas. Turns out almost every single winner of the $10mil jackpot in 2 years was broke.

I believe it, I saw a similar documentary on lottery winners, same results. Most were either broke or bankrupt in just a few years. They say also if you are a lottery winner expect to be sued by someone in the first 6 months.

Its really easy. Just start a business or do the stock market. Of course treat yourself to something nice but 90 percent of it should be invested

Depending on how much the lotto was, I would open up a Golds gym. Always been a dream of mine.

That's why if I win the lotto, the money is going to the Cayman Islands. And I'll be living quietly on a private little island out there.

Fvck that. I'd just buy some equipment and convert the garage or the seller in to my own private gym.

I also would like to own and race rally car too.
