Slept pretty good last night, wife stated I was snoring a little, so I'm going to have to up the heat on my cpap machine. She didn't tell me where to set the heat, I just used the lowest setting.

Good question, I have no idea. I had my other test last night, had it moved up, and picked up a machine today. Managed to drive two hours home afterwards without getting drowsy, I slept like 8 hours with the machine on. I got the mask that kind of goes inside your nose. I'm on a low setting as well. I hope it kicks in fast with general stuff. And thinking long term will start seeing benefits over time.

I'm a stomach and side sleeper so I go the mask the covers my mouth and nose, wish I just got the nose one though, cuz im told u can move more and it doesn't leak. I'm sleeping about 4-5 hours with it on. Still waking up a few times with the machine!

last night was first time i slept in my own bed with it, because it goes kind of inside the nose it is really flat, and i can practically sleep flat on my face if i want to. I think i slept like 7 hours, which is more than usual. I was going to get the full cover one until my mother suggested this one and i tried it. Only bad thing is yesterday my nose hurt really bad, turns out it gave me zits on the edges of my nostrils. So i cleaned them up last night, and the one that i have must be better than the test one because no zits and no discomfort on my nose today. I did have to turn the humidity down cause water was leaking out of it, but then had to turn it back up a litle when my throat felt dried up. when i do wake up i definitely feel different than before.

Read first few posts so if someone said this already yeah but have you tried Breathe Right Strips ? My gf makes me wear them. I am one of the worst snorers on the planet. I believe I also have sleep apnea. It is very rare that I don't wake up several times a night.

No I have not, I snore also. Your body could be waking up and you not know it, I had 93.7 events an hour. Meaning I held my breath 93.7 times an hour and my body would slightly wake up so I would breathe. I would feel tired all day and even take a nap, still felt tired after my daily naps

yeah its weird you say that, cause my limbs feel different when i wake up, somehow took the mask off during the night last night, so when i woke up really did not feel as good. I'm also on 3, just barely under it. My pressure is only an 8 though when he had it on a 5 felt like i couldn't get enough air, will see how it goes.

Just got a machine today as a "loaner". Damn these things are whisper quiet. Not sure I can get used to the mask though since I sleep on my side, but I'm willing to give it a try...

Yea mine is super quiet, I sleep on my side and stomach so I switched to a nose mask instead of the nose and mouth mask I had

They really aren't that bad, the one I have I can practically lay flat on my face, it like goes inside your nose, super small, work pretty amazingly, hardly tell it is on most of the night.

Actually I was diagnosed with sleep apnea at first, but then after some confusion I took another sleep study and they found out I had narcolepsy. Both can cause excessive day time sleepiness. They both suck.

I sleep with my mouth open so I was looking at the oracle or the mirage liberty, both seem more comfortable than what i got..

Usually closed, but I somehow close stuff back there and can breathe through nose and mouth open without losing pressure out the mouth. I have to try to open both up to let the air flow right back out the mouth, so if my mouth opens it doesn't matter.

I have had it since I was a kid, partying in the 80's didn't help...lol. I finally got tested last year and they said I was a lv 10, I stoped breathing about 40 x per hr and my overall O2 lvs where down all the way into the 70's!! I usually wake up gasping for air dozens of x per hr. Sometimes I get up almost every hr on the hr. It feels like I have been up for weeks sometimes, decreased energy. I didn't want to go on the machine, and wanted to try PROVENT(pills) but my friggin DR is Side skirting writing me a rx for it? They are like bandaids with litttle filters on them, u can breathin, but not out. Noe this guy(DR) is not answering my e-mails.
