This is a coincidence, I pinned my right quad for the first time Sunday. I am on week 3 of a Test E cycle (first cycle) and have hit the glutes twice each side and never had a problem. I thought the quad would be easier because of the angle (and it definately was) but last night I could not even sleep due to the soreness. No redness or swelling just a PAIN. Now I am so exhausted I wont be able to hit the gym.
