I'm thinking The Conditioned Classic....
Different classes like...
1. Men's Natty
2. Men's Open
3. Women's Open
Feed back please and thank you. I'd also like to hear from the current Bulk Classic competitors and judges. I need 4 members to step forward and be dedicated judges.
That is all for now.

that sounds pretty good! can u define the term "conditioned" ?? lean, vascular, muscular, performance, strength??? what will be the qualifications?
thatd be good! i think performance would be interesting.. i dont know what capacity it would be measured? maybe something like LBM vs bench, squat, dead in some percentage form or measurable form?
also a 1mile run time would be interesting as well. of course all these factors would be fudgeable (i know its not a word) so we would be on our honor.
just throwing ideas at u..
I don't think strength should come into it. To complicated for remote participants IMHO. It should simply be improvement in conditioning from the start of the contest to it's end. Not necessarily the most cut as it's not a bodybuilding contest. Simply the most "improved contestant" is what I'm thinking.
We don't need to over complicate it, IMO.
^^ the only problem with that kel is the guys that are in pretty good shape now (like me) are not gonna improve too much vs the lazy chubbys that sit around all day except when they go to the gym to lift!
Most improved start to finish.
Even though we will be trusting everyones word, but what if I require them to post there lift numbers and run/cardio times every Sunday???
405 maybe catagories geared toward beginner, intermediate and advanced.....
I don't think lift numbers should really be included because besides people being able to make shit up form can play a huge role in what you can lift for a given set.
i tell u, organizing an online contest presents many challenges!
its unfortunate to think we cant have certain events due to potential for dishonesty. i mean, if ur not honest, really whats the freaking point? what u won an online weightlifting contest because u lied? LOL.. oh stop the presses..
I wanna play....
I like most overall improvement. Allows for all people, cutting or bulking or lean bulk, to participate.
I'm gonna ask for all photo's to have proof of date in the pic.....
Maybe you should run your own contest with a list of demands.Originally Posted by dan68131

I would use KISS here! Seems like it's getting kind of complicated!
Two or three categories. Beginner and advanced or those two with intermediate
Also a woman's category or perhaps competing in an 'open' category. Men and woman and any level of fitness
well im cutting now dammit! ill be done come the end of february! i guess itll be another contest poor ole 405 doesnt get to participate in!![]()
a couple hours and 2lb of fresh cherries had me looking completely different @ 9%. Woke up in the morning, decent cuts, walked out to the orchard to start picking in the summer heat and 3 hours later I couldnt flex out a 6 pack to save my life.
That one is easy.... water weight. Wanna see how much water you're REALLY holding vs. fat? Take Hydrochlorothiazide for about a week AFTER you consult with a doctor. Hydrochlorothiazide is nasty on your liver if you aren't drinking enough water but more or less you're gonna piss every 15 minutes for the first week and always be thirsty because that stuff signals your body to dump (pee out) all the water its holding. You can easily end up dehydrated if you don't drink a ton of water.
hey dan.. isnt the percentage (8%) of ur total weight? not the number of cells anyways. and u dont necessarily acquire additional fat cells when u gain weight they just get bigger.. it is possible to acquire new ones but it does not always occur..
Yep, but that's where my argument is... the % of total body weight. There are a TON of people on here that are very lean; but to say that only 8% of your entire body mass is fat is inaccurate. You can be lean and be at 18-20% body fat total. If someone comes out and says I'm 5'4" tall, weigh 205, and I've only been working out for one year- then where did this 205 lbs of "tissue" come from... cause it ain't muscle. If they are on a Dbol cycle, or Test... a lot of water is held in fat cells... yet they claim they are 7-8-10% how?
As far as "fat cells" according to the medical community- you can't lose a cell without it being physically removed or "dying". You can't burn them off or lose them by doing cardio. The amount cells stays the same; they just shrink. So... if you were 45% body fat 10 years ago; you still have it as far as cell count is concerned. Its where its held and how much area you're working with in tissue that makes you look leaner than anything. You can remove the "fat" from the cell but still has other elements in it like water, protein, etc.

dan u seem like a pretty good dude and for the record i like u so farbut i have to say u are so full of shit in this regard its ridiculous! 18-20% body fat is NOT lean i dont give a crap what u say! that means 1/5 of ur body weight is FAT!
u have a distorted perception of reality when it comes to body composition.. period..
