Also word has it that he opened up to Oprah telling her yes he did performance enhancing drugs to gain a edge in his training. Telling her and the audience that he was wrong. That he cheated everyone out of everything. That he is a bum no longer deserving of any award, except the loser of the year award. That he is nothing but a fraud, a cheater, a lier, a scum bag, a douche, a pie faced pig fvcker, and donkey dung! Other than that he is a good guy and would never lie to anyone anytime over anything. He is the one athlete we can totally trust. Well except for that lying, cheating, fraud thing he did. but people need to realize that just because you take performance enhancing drugs like steroids, one still has to have the genetics, and determination, and the money, and diet, and proper trainer to win. But still there are a lot of people out there who truly believe just because you take an enhancer, you are guaranteed to win. That all you need do is lay around and let the drug do it's job while you watch tv and eat bon bons....

America loves a winner. In order to be a winner, the guys and girls do what they have to to win. Always have always will. Lance is the very last one that we all hoped was actually clean and free of doping....but. Now that he has confessed to doping, it's all out there. Bottom line is in order to win in todays world we need an edge and doping is it. How do you stop it when everyone does it? If they all are banned there will be no one left to compete! Game over...we lose Someone once said that there are two kinds of competitors in sports. Those that dope and then those that lie about it. America loves it's lies but not it's lying liers. I still remember my father in law talking about lance few years back, saying he had cancer and such and how his whole physiology and body chemistry changed after that, like it somehow just magically made him better? I knew he was on something, who loses a nut and then increases in performance?

I tried to watch the oprah show but after about 10 minutes into the interview I had to switch channels. Lance reminded me of well of our ex president during his denial of having sexual relations with that woman..Monica Lewinski. Lance evaded nearly ever question asked of him by putting his own take and spin on it. Again like Bill Clinton testifying as to the definition of what is is. she did get him to admit he was arrogant and used his mean spirited personality to brow beat others into doping as well. He even told the few who refused that they had to keep up or else. meaning if they didn't dope and could not hold their own on the team that they would be replaced. So he had total control over the teams doping, but refused to admit it directly.

Im watching Betsy Andreu talk on CNN and Im confused why everyone thinks Lance owes them the truth. When the next words out of someones mouth would be "I'm suing you" I would never admit truth. He is in a sport that has lots of doping. However, this doesn't make it right and not every cyclist is doping.
I honestly dont care either way but I feel he is only coming out to benefit himself, just like lying in the past to benefit himself. So I view him as a very selfish individual who will do whatever it takes to be on top even if it mean you lose your character and word as a man.

Some have. I don't think any criminal proceedings can be brought but he's gonna have a sh1t load of civil lawsuits coming his way.
I agree, almost everybody was doping. It was a relatively level playing field. Innocent people got hurt as they do in life. But, as was me ruined earlier in this thread, the worst thing Is that he is a lying liar, and I don't think there is any remorse there at all.

I think he IS concerned about getting sued.
He was about to be sued by a UK paper(I think it was a UK paper) whether he came clean or not. They were going after him for the money they paid him in a libel settlement years ago. They were basing there case on the USADA findings.
Plenty of sponsors were lining up to sue him based on USADA's findings too.
He's soooooo lawyered up. All these decision are from a lawyer, imo.

The Sunday Times (UK) will sue him. I think he can't be done for perjury now, it's been too long. His lawyers have schooled him in this being the best time.
Maybe he's got a book written, that'll make the millions he may need!
