I had to vote recomp. Thats a hard call though. I think you have plenty of size, and a cut would really look great, but a recomp would, IMO, be just as impressive. You'd cut some fat and get a little more muscle. My gut said Bulk at first, but Im for recomp. I think you would look similar with a cut or recomp.

Assuming your going to cycle...I would love to see you bulk then cut during the 12 weeks. So many are interested in the diet and timing to pull off both a bulk and cut in one cycle!

12 weeks would be too short to bulk and cut with great results. Recomp!

    That's basically what a recomp is m8....

If I recomp it will simply be a case of timing a cutting phase and a bulking phase so that by the end of it I look a bit leaner and a bit bigger.... The results from a recomp will not be very dramatic at all TBH... That's why I was so shocked that so many people voted recomp...

Maybe they think I'm going to loose 20 lbs of fat and gain 20 lbs of muscle lol.... Haha not gonna happen....

If I recomp I will probably end up a bit lighter and may gain 3-6 lbs of muscle tops....

I know that, but to officially bulk then cut in 12 weeks, we wouldn't be able to tel a difference unless you were posting pics every couple of weeks.

I would like to add that I originally wanted you to bulk. Reason is because I think you are one of the few of us who has those freakish genetics to grow to monsterous proprtions. However, I feel a recomp best suited for the competition.

In all honest...a cut would do you the most justice in terms of the comp but the recomp would best serve the board! Your call......

Ha ha! That's what I think too. A cut would do him great, but a recomp would be great for us.

Lol yeh recomp will still be good for me tho....

A big part I a recomp is actually getting leaner anyway.... That's probably the biggest part.... Once you get lean enough and then feed the body you can have a good rebound and create this 'recomp' look

It's all in the timing and knowing ur body's limits as far as calories are concerned

Out of curiousity, assuming you plan to recomp. Will you cut then bulk??? I personaly see it working better the other way....

Yeh I would do a hard cut using a PSMF diet in 13 day blocks with a 1 in 14 refeed day while loading long esters and I'd then bump cals to mtnce and add calories each week while increasing training intensity and load.... I'd also bring in extra gear for the growth phase including orals....

Interesting. I would thing it would be easier, if nothing else, to simply add the size then cut the shyt out of it!

Ur 'bro' theory sounds good but that's just not an optimal way to do things...

I'm not taking the piss with that either lol

If I were to bulk then realistically I'm not gonna gain a load of size and I will for sure gain extra fat... So by the time I have burned even more fat at the end I will look flat and feel crap...

By doing a hard cut at the start I will be in a well primed position to maximise muscle gain while limiting Bodyfat gain...

After a cut you have a 'rebound' phase... Hormonal, metabolic and mental... If you time it right and keep macros in check you 'should' be able to gain LBM with little fat mass gain....

Anything in 'these' means I'm talking bro-science or it's just theory lol

I haven't read through the other responses but I'll vote for you to cut/prime for the next 4-6 weeks and then start a burst bulk type cycle.

You could lose a couple percent BF naturally or with some thermos and a strict diet over the next few weeks and use the last 6-8 weeks to really grow. Short esters obviously.

I guess that's considered a recomp for your poll but imo not really because you have enough time to cut/prime for a few weeks as you don't have that much bf to lose and then you could use the last couple months to really explode with growth.

I'm voting recomp but that's not really what I'm saying. 6 weeks is enough to cut/prime to get lean at your current bf and another 6 weeks is enough to really grow imo.

    I'll be following regardless......
