I drain it anyway but it does make sense that you really aren't saving a lot if you rinse/drain the fat from less lean meat. Damn this hobby is expensive!!

My freezer is tiny mate so I buy fresh. It's no real biggie, I'll hopefully get a Costco card soon which will be better
