Clen is not a legal med in the US and possession for personal use is illegal. For research purposes is another story and is obviously allowed but is a bit of a gray area.

The legality of t3 (synthroid) is not the issue.. the issue was a person showed up to my house from the post office asking me to sign for an item.. hell my carrier won't get out of his truck and bring perishable fruit to my door...

As far as I know if it's in pill form its considered a "drug" if it's in powder or liquid its a chemical. How you do your "research" is up to you.

I get stuff from India a few times a year (not actually aas). It's sent international express. It always comes in a separate delivery and it's a guy in a minivan. Regular mail goes through my local PO, but international express is routed through the closest major hub (about 25 minutes away).
