What can we do to make this board better for you?

don't have a private female only section. get it out from behind the iron curtain. there is no reason to have a private female forum IMHO.

How can we make this board more appealing to new members?

This one goes out to the people who don't log in or haven't registered but lurk - what is the reason why you don't log in or register?

Why do you think so many people read the information we have on the board but don't participate?
time and priorities. there's only a certain demographic who is going to post.

Perhaps change access to after 10 times viewing the information, you require ppl to become members. my thought is to make this a higher number than 3 but less then 20. if a person is coming back 20 times, then it is not asking much for a frequent browser to register.


What do you think about use not being a source board? does it keep people away or would being a source board be something we should look at?

I found a good source on another forum that was a source board. i never posted there but did go searching for a source. Other members may not come back. I didn't want to discuss my personal biz with people who i workout with and the ladies at my gym are not as "hard core" as me.

Anyway you can assist members in not getting scammed is going to make you a preferred site. There's a lot of fake gear out there.

SOURCE Board there are positives and negatives. if source is giving freebies (kickbacks) there is bound to be a scandal.

SOURCE check forum would be helpful for members. maybe this should be private or accessible with x amount of post over y amount of time. (post count alone may not be adequate to provide access).

In your opinion what is negative and positive regarding the board?

negative - i just don't think the female section should be private. I think women are looking for answers and shouldn't have to go to a hidden room to find answers.

negative - other then the steroid forum, there are some forums that have very little mod and member participation/traffic to respond to new members questions.

positive - everything else. there's a lot more positive then negative!!!!

Its not supposed to be but yes that's pretty much what happens. I try not to visit that section very often.

I think having a female only section is good. You (girly) and Angel are the exceptions. Any of the females can post in other sections but I think most feel more secure in their own section.

Person dont like the forced sign up, even after a certain number of post. I have been to a few that let you read 3 post then want you to register. Thats when I leave.

Making it so you have to sign up to see stuff on the board is probably the worst idea in my opinion. I will never and have never signed up to a forum where I couldn't read some of the info first.
