My daughter is happy with hers, except she had not found a case she liked but was telling me after 2 months she had not dropped it yet. 2 hrs later she dropped it and broke the screen. lol

i don't do those plans I just buy the phone outright cause if your out of contract you get the 25 dollar credit on your bill. You bed up paying more in the long run with the contract then just buying the phone outright when you figure in the credit

For some weird reason the plan I was on gave us enough of a credit to switch to edge for no extra cost so atleast it got me out of a contract. I can't wait till google roles out their cell phone service. I'm hoping they will force the price down just because they are google and they are getting multiple provider companies to work together and share towers.

Also since the droid is verizons baby the cases for it are limited and they are all terrible from the reviews I have seen. I stopped being as careful with mine after I decided I am gonna upgrade in a few weeks but I still try not to drop it... Even though the headphone jack malfunctioning during my lift makes me want to snap it in half

@lovbyts. Did she have the carbon fiber backed version? I'm surprised to hear the screen cracked. I have dropped mine quite a few times in the past few weeks often on sidewalks and asphalt with no more than a few scratches

gotcha the company doesn't really matter as long as they offer the discount for being out of contract and the big 3 company's all offer it. Most people do not look at the long term cost and only look at the short term

I do contract because the math seems to work out. I get unlimited everything and my insurance is only $8 a month and covers the battery also and I the phone was only $50

My daughter says the phone really is not any faster either
