With the first wife, she quit wanting it within a month of marriage. I could of even understood if she was banging someone else but she wasn't. It eventually led to our divorce and 90% of our fights. Marriage didn't last long, about a year.

They say sex isn't that big of a part of your marriage unless you aren't having it, then it's the biggest part.

Ive heard that so many times but cant understand it one bit. How can things be that different and someone that deceptive? You are lucky you got out right away. I have no doubt that a lot of other things would have happened worse than you can imagine. That was just the tip of the iceberg.

Had the talk with the wifey and we are back on track. Her dad passed away about 2 months ago so she's been upset which is to be expected. That is why I never pushed anything but I finally had to bring it up. Should be back to 3 times per week from here on out.

that was my fear. We typically had sex 2-3 times per week and she would let me do a ton of fun things like making movies etc. I knew when her father passed it would impact things for a bit. The first month I didn't even try to have sex with her even though we did a couple of times. She tends to hold things in and keep things to herself but I'm glad I brought it up. It caused a pretty major argument that lasted a couple of days but things should be better now.

Of all my friends and family members, I would venture to guess that my wife and my sex life is better than all. Most of them either pass out drunk early or one of them spends the night at their Mom's house or always something going on.

I almost feel guilty talking about it with my co workers sometimes after they all bitch about their wives and I have nothing but compliments on the sex, way she saves and the way she acts. I am a blessed guy. I wish everyone I knew felt the same way about their spouses.

You're probably going to have good amount of bias in response to this question. Men who have sex a lot are going to be more likely to answer the question than those who don't, so I wouldn't take it as a representative sample or anything. If that makes you feel any better.

It is simple communication between partners. Often times I hear how married men don't get sex anymore after a few kids. Ex. They come home from work have dinner and sit on couch till bed time. Wife cleans dinner and picks up and puts kids to bed by herself and then she starts to pick up once again. Then finally husband comes off the couch expecting something. My first thought is how clueless are you? To most woman who have children, nothing is more pleasing then seeing your man tending to his children
For those people without children I would focus more on doing quit acts of kindness for your spouse to show you care. Even change the acts from one thing to another. Ex. I wrote on a bunch of stickies one more for my wife. And each said something I like about her, or something I'm thankful for. Random acts gentleman.
P.s. making her feel good in the bedroom is important but often times how she feels going to the bedroom is more important.

Oh you're not sure man? USA's divorce rate is over 50%...Statistically residency is not important to individual relationships but to all of them as a whole..The bigger picture.. BUT you as a happily married man are a minority in this country...Don't know how many married couples you know, but that's def not the common theme...

I think it does. Couples who want to stay together i think directly correlate to the divorce rate... If your country has a higher divorce rate, chances are the average couple is less connected than in a country with a lower one which means less sex regularly, if at all....

This thread is asking married members how many times per week on average they have sex with their spouse. Has 0 to do with where anyone lives.

Also, I know many married people who don't have regular sex. I'm not some kid that thinks they know things. I'm a 43 man who has actually seen things first hand, not seen it on the net.
