I am in the process of deciding between installing a fully functional msn instant messenger into the main forum page or installing a whole new chat room that only members who have posted a certain number of times have access to. Which would be preferable?

John, the message board members don't really agree with it. But many of the visitors we get don't visit the message board, yet anyway (working on changing that too).

I agree that having a post minimum to get into the chat room will just create more post-whores.

When you guys do the profiles over, maybe you could have a link to any related posts pertaining to that particular drug...

...and the Chat Room would definitely be a good idea, along with the # of posts determining access. even though that would exclude me
