I am better off on 1 g of tren than I am with no gym. Just got released by Dr to lightly lift and now this.
Watch out SoCal you have a person looking for road rage. Call me anything you want, degrade me, I’m fine with that...... just don’t fuck with my workouts.
They are fucking with my workouts.

I feel you. Closed here as well. I may have to actually pay for a therapist now. Or stress eat? How do normal people handle this?

Well it happened yesterday at 5PM all the gyms are closed, bars, restaurants, bank lobbies etc etc ... any place that 10 or more people would gather. This shit is out of control ... over re-acting. Had my last workout at the gym just before they were ordered to shutdown by our Government.

Honestly I think we should cocoon all the vulnerable people together (e.g. the elderly, the ill) away from society, and then let all the healthy people get deliberatley infected. I would volunteer to get infected now for 2 reasons:
    (1) I want to catch it now and develop some immunity before it mutates and becomes more fatal
    (2) If about 60% - 70% of the healthy people in society get infected and develop immunity then it will be enough to have herd immunity, and the people who were cocooned can later rejoin society and rely on herd immunity.

Children aren't badly affected by Caronavirus, and so we should try get all the healthy kids infected now while they're young, both for their own protection, and also for the sake of the elderly and the ill, as children in classrooms of 30 picking their noses are the biggest spreaders.

We have been deliberately spreading chicken pox among our children for decades (if not centuries?) so I don't think this strategy should be too outlandish for Caronavirus.

In Netherland statistics show healthy guys from 30 to 50 also get serious complications from it
Its a myth that weak and old people are the only ones at risk

^ this is probably too fast. "purposely" getting infected or exposed works great when there are anti-viruses vaccines and antidotes in place. but until that happens , pretty much all countries and 'experts' are advising keeping spreading low is the only real option at this point.

yes eventually over time , everyone at some point will likely get the corona virus. but we just all need to 'take turns' and slow things down and get it over a period of 5-20 years , and not the world population all at once

    Coral Springs and Tamarac Florida.

Athletica and University Fitness are still rocking and rolling. Athletica cut down hours which makes no sense as now more people cramming in to get workouts in.

I believe 24 Hour Fitness is still up to.

It’s unreal, It’s all so surreal

(No more rhymin and I mean it - anybody want a peanut?)

    I digress...

The whole thing is a massive FUBAR being fueled by media fear mongering and misinformation. Wash your fucking hands, keep your fingers out of your mouth and don’t lick any doorknobs. How hard is it? I don’t need the government to enforce laws for me around personal hygiene...I managed just fine before

We are not the problem as in people like you and i. I was out last night and you would be surprised how disgusting so many people are. They are to close coughing everywhere and they just do not care. That is what is causing all this

Valid point, forget how stupid people really are. Well if we do have to cull our population, I hope it’s the close cougher’s that go first!

I had to clean out my home gym. Changing things up a bit. I have been ordered to telework. So I roll out of bed at 5:30 do 45 minutes of HIIT on my elliptical. Sign in to my work at 0630, make breakfast shower and work. Done working at 2:30 lift for 45 minutes and another 30 of cardio. Nothing else to do with everything closed.

My three grandsons are out of school for the rest of the year so I am in-charge of their gym class daily. Started having them come over for my afternoon workout and make them lift and do calisthenics.

as a gym owner forced to closed down or spend a year prison sentence .. I'm guessing its going to be months, not weeks. the state is mandating total loss of my income and source of revenue.
family of 6 .. my only source of income is my gym. govt does not understand the economic disaster of shutting down small business . all the while they show on the news the stock market is up a few points (lol, who really cares .. stock doesn't mean shit when tons of average people won't be able make a normal living cause the state is forcing us to shut down)

No way I wanted anything even close to this to actually happen,

But, man oh man - our other business will be booming here shortly

Our current business - tanked since the start of this year, we couldn't figure out why - it made no sense. . . But, it's just because we felt it first, when customers were coming in at 1/3rd of the previous year

My morale is below sea level. There's the prospect of not getting my wage next month. Market is dead, can't find any collaboration openings for side hustling. Gym's closed, can't take my anger anywhere. Just drank two beers and a cider and now I'm angry with myself as well. Thought I was harder to shake.

Monday morning both my gym and my Regal theater closed. Probably for the better, only way to keep me out there. All my gear (treadmill, mountain bike, Power Blocks, etc.) are in storage on the East Coast, while I'm on the West Coast, doing a few months layover before relocating and working for the HI DOE on Oahu...sunshine, waves, and Tahitian/Polynesian girls from here on out. So, I'm going to be on inmate cell training for a while.

But take heart, next month we'll start to see Corona relief, and mid-month will be the turning point.

I stocked up. Pfizer and Valeant Testosterone already starting to be on back order from the pharmacy. First time in my life I've bought a few UGL vials of test just incase the pharmacy explodes.

Texted a pseudo gym buddy who helps manage a local gym in my town. He tells me there’s a group of employees getting in guerrilla workouts early and says I can join. Get all super stoked for access and to get in a proper lift, only to be told this morning the head GM said no. Fucking crushed. Was so excited.

So surreal this shit is happening. I can’t catch a break lately man. If you see me at a casino betting black, put all your money on red

Now in the UK, we're restricted on leaving our homes. If we're outside we must be going to buy basic essentials or doing our 1hr a day of exercise.

I closed my gym to public a week or so ago.. only let in like 5-10 people at a time (friends, family, faithful members, etc.).. that was not enough. state called us and told us to totally lock the doors and shut it all down, period. this is total bullshit

Thats total BS my gym tried to do the same thing schedule times and limit it to 5 members at a time (unusually never more than 10-15 on a busy day normally) well that lasted less than a day before he was threatened with a $10000 fine, yet Walmart is aloud to have literally hundreds of people in the store. Now I own my own restaurant and had to close the dining room (75% of my business) and do take out only and at this point theirs no help from the government, I had to stop talking my pay check so I apply for unemployment and get hit with we need 3 years of tax returns, x months of bank statements, your going to have to be a hearing... wtf is that going to show my business was pretty much shut down last week and it's beyond my control.

Now that's going too far. That should be the least of their worries. Your gym looked plenty big enough for every to have a 6' personal space around them with no problem at all.

Over-regulation = bad regulation. I hate to hear that, GH.

Here in SoCal, they tell us to stay home, so we fill up the beach. LOL
    Now they close the beach.
Now we can only congregate outside of Costco and the dispensary for marijuana. LOL

I haven't been to my gym in almost a month now because first I was sick, then this shit happened. Don't want to be sick again, especially since my immune system was already compromised. I got laid off so I have to file for unemployment which I might not even get since I Was off work for a part of last year due to the last company dissolving smh. Always something. I get this position and now I get laid off because of Corona.

I'm still paying the $55/month for my gym because it's a smaller privately owned gym and I've been with them off and on since my starting days of lifting. I figure in at least 2 months I'll be able to go back anyway. I wonder how bigger gyms that are closing are handling membership fees?
