It's good you're giving yoga a go. The benefits are good now but you'll really be patting yourself on the back when you reach retirement.

There's so many different kinds of yoga teacher. Before I started doing yoga by myself, I used to try every yoga teacher in town before I settled on one. Some of them I hated, there's some shit teachers out there.
