Say these is a point of how developed my physique can be. With taking steroids won't i just get to this point faster? If i takes me two years to do it naturally will it take me only one year with anabolic aid? Someone please help me

What are the effects of steroids on adolescents?

Anabolics can affect bone growth during puberty: The long
bones of the legs and arms are still growing in early adolescence.
Plates of cartilage called "epiphyses" are present in the arms and
legs at birth. Bone lengthens from them until a certain point in
time at the end of puberty. A surge of the body's natural steroid
hormones causes the epiphyses to close and become solid bone.
After they close, the body's long bones stop growing. Adult height
is fixed. Taking one or more anabolic steroids during puberty in
athletic doses imitates the hormone surge at the end of
puberty.(1,2) The epiphyses may close early, locking
the adolescent into a shorter adult height.(2,3)

Acne is increased by anabolics.(1,2,4) Acne
decreases when steroid use is stopped, but may leave extensive
scarring.(5) In one reported case (4), acne was
severe enough to send the steroid user to the hospital. Drugs
prescribed to treat acne (such as tetracycline and isotretinoin)
may become toxic at normal doses if taken by a steroid
abuser.(6) When the liver enzymes are occupied by
anabolics, they are unable to deactivate these prescription drugs
at a normal rate. The prescription drugs accumulate in the body,
leading to toxic effects.(6)

Male pattern baldness occurs in both male and female steroid
abusers.(1,2,6) Some medical authorities feel that
hair growth returns when steroids are stopped.(6) Others
say that hair loss is irreversible.(2)

Sure taking steroids will get to "this" point faster, but only if you're prepared to get there without them. If you're some couch potato who maybe works out twice a week, taking gear won't get you a body like Arnold's. But if you're already working your ass off in the gym, have a 5 star diet, and have what it takes, then yes, I guess it's fair to say steroids will get you there faster.

I WENT TO HIGHSCHOOL WITH TWO GUYS WHO WERE ON MY FOOTBALL TEAM. BOTH TRAINED HARD AND WERE ON GEAR. PROBLEM WAS ONE WAS EDUCATED THE OTHER WAS NOT. I have to second what sk* is saying... and i did in a post under this subject on the other page.

There are some of those kids that come on just asking like "where can i get steroids cause i wanna get HGUE and beat ppl up but i dont wanna workout or eat right", and obviously sk* isn't one of those guys. But in everyone's defense, I don't really think anyone is flaming sk* or anything, just saying what they think. You gotta take everything with a grain of salt. For all we know this board is actually run by a group of french-canadian nuns who are trying to kill everyone by giving them insanely high doses of AS!

maybe the point was lost in the story, what was meant by it was if you are going to do them, do them responsibly. not that he died, he died from not being intelligent enough to learn more. what exactly caused him to die was he had put so much into his system his heart actually stopped. the report the coach gave was the coroner determined his heart stopped due to a side effect of steroids in his system.

now again, take the coroner and the coach's words lightly. they may have been trying to scare the rest of us. but my coachs exact words after that was, "If you are going to do them, use your damn head." lots of us on that team used various things to our advantage, some used speed,coke and even vivarin. we even had a few guys getting shots for pain.

all I am trying to get acrossed is at ANY age, think and act responsibly.
