I went for a long as ride on Sat. 18 bikes showed up.
Was a lot of fun.

My bud has a 2011. The front fairing is smashed in and wide. The rear end is short and thin.
It doesnt match. Looks like it has down syndrome.

Its the bike I want eventually. Im always looking for a 750 motor to swap into my bike since its the same exact frame.

Since I am just buying a "toy bike" I was thinking of the 600 to save a little more cash but I am use to the power of the 750. I was just reading reviews and it seems there is quite a difference between the two bike power wise so I think I am staying with the 750. I use to hear the new 600's were very close to the 750 feel wise but that's not what I am reading online.

If its just to ride here and there on nice days... go with the 600. All you gotta do is put on different sized sprockets and itll feel like a whole new bike. -1 tooth on front sprocket and +2 teeth on rear sprocket. Gives you more torque and low end play. Takes off some top end power. Can still hit over 100mph but getting there is a lot more fun.

I have only ever ridden on 1 600 and that was my first bike. My buddies all had 750 and I grew into that bike pretty fast. I remember having to redline that bike every gear in order to keep up. It lasted only 6 months until I upgraded to the 750.

Well if youre going to be trying to keep up with your buds on bigger bikes, then get the bigger bike. lol

I ride with 1000's and 750's and dont have to push it too hard. Unless we are on the highway of course. But around town I keep up just fine.

Yea screw it. I'd rather spend the extra bucks and not be disappointed with my purchase. No one I know has a 1K so I am good !
