Yeah I warm up with leg extensions then squats
I like leg presses the best I think..
I love the leg press machine as well except at our gym can only put 950lb on it and I press that piece 25 x now and I did that last week without any drugs in my system!!
stop doing them at least until your knee feels 100%
Leg extensions are the least favorable leg exercise because the knee is put into a position of disadvantage. there are sheer forces because the foot (during the exercise) is not in contact with the floor, therefore in the highest position sheer forces are the greatest. Imo, take it out of you program. If you want big quads, squat, lunge or step up.
I need to video tape these feats of strength, you guys probably think I'm full of it
You can build size from compound exercsies
Legs are great to do. I only workout mine one day a week.
I hit 585lbs on the Dead squat. 5 reps.

Whats a dead squat. My max is only 455 x4. but at the same time I have never hit the juice yet and my legs are a weak point
