LMAO... I used to like darker beer (reds)... still do - but ever since I lived in Vegas for awhile I got hooked on Corona and lime... overseas they seem to like to put lemon in it though...

Anytime I go visit my ol' man he's got a case of Killian's Red (awesome) waiting for me... "sit down son - beers in the fridge... how you been?"

    Best beers -

    Carlsberg is 2nd
1st by a long way is a Belgian white beer called "Hoegaarden". I only know one bar that sells it and that's the "Mambo Cafe" chain here in the UK. It's got a special glass too. If you haven't tried this one you've got to hunt it out because you'll never taste anything better!

-black ice ( drank this when i was 16-18 everyweekend. cause it was so cheap and alcholoic)
-Old ENGLISH ( this was substituted every so often for variety 16-18, good for the same reasons as black ice... ).note:drink 3 40oz'ers of old english and you can't see

Out of curiosity has anyone here tried Old English? Its a malt liquor, which is basically really bad beer..

    comes in 40ozer..

    ANyone?

I remember back in high school I'd get 2 bottles.. The first bottle took me an hour and a half or so to down casue it tasted so bad. the second bottle went down like water.... any day you got 2 down you knew it was going to be a good night..

    Those beers bring back memories.

First beer drank - My dad's supply of OV (Old Vienna - also called Old Vagina)

I drank Labatt Ice when it came out. I then switched to Max Ice, yeah, alcoholic piss, that stuff would come up and slap you in the face. One hell of a hangover. We drank Molson XXX as well, 7.8% as well. We did a lot of stupid **** drinking that crap.

Red Cap in the stubbie bottles, Wildcat, Wildcat strong - Wildcat tastes really bad, almost like american beer, lol, but its cheap.

Black Label is horrobile as well.

Hey MBH, for a Pilsner there is nothing better than Bitburger. Best beer in Germany, try it you can get it at Beverages and more..which you probably don't have there where you live...too bad.
