I've had an infection myself, not from injecting but from a simple cut. Had blood poisoning and a fever...a red line running up my arm. I am allergic to penicillin so they gave me some other shiet. It cleared up quickly...I hope the same happens with him. I think the sooner you get it taken care of the better off you are, as common sense would dictate.

right behind me, but 105 is a high ass temp, anything over 104 and it's
time to go get some medical attention... Good thing he went... Hope

Very true, I'm stubborn as hell myself. Just bad luck for BDTR to have an injection like this when you know he took all precautions. Some times **** just happens. I'm sure he'll be ok.

Yes, he was frantically looking for antibiotics recently. He had drained a large abscess, and was worried about it.

I hope he survives this, unscathed. I'm glad it wasn't a heart attack or anything like that.

Chances are, doing so many injections... I think he said he does 2 grams a week of test en year round at about 3 CC's a shot. Well lots of injections increases chance of making mistakes. Possible you get into automatic mode when doing injection, not thinking about what you are doing anymore and accidentally touched needle with finger or table top before injecting, etc.
