You gained 45 pounds without AAS in a year? Post your pictures. Pony up the evidence. I'll be right here waiting for you. Your myostatin gene must have shut off.

Hey James... you seriously need to post before and after pictures... in which the "date created" can be seen. Cause basically, you're defying everything that science says about physical capacity for hypertrophy. So post em...

GOOD! I don't WANT to look like that! You must have only skimmed this. You probably want to get huge, to make up for the fact that you're short... but I just want to look PROPORTIONAL! Not to a BB judge... but to my actual target audience - for anyone who READ the whole thread ... they'd know that. But apparently, you skimmed down and replied assuming my goals are the same as yours. You actually didn't realize that YOU were being a prick to start with. If you read throught he rest of this... I am very humble and polite. And my only request is that people offer CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM.

You on the other hand want to tell me how you gained 45 pounds of muscle in a year... Well, bubba... first off, that's just BULL SHIT. And I think EVERYONE here will tell you it if they have even a slight degree of knowledge about human anatomy and physiology.

So again, POST YOUR BEFORE, AFTER, and time between the pictures taken... then we can see...

    Get it?

Yup. For some reason I could see it coming. Anyone who'd read the three pages earlier would know that I'm TOTALLY receptive to CONSTRUCTIVE criticism... but telling me now that I could have done it without AAS because he gained 45 pounds in one year (uh, who doesn't want to see those before and after pictures...?) means that I should have had no prob doing so, and I'm an idiot who lacks discipline - in spite the numerous sceince journals that state that that is IMPOSSIBLE! Of course, never did he realize that I don't feel the need to get monstrous to make up for inadequecies of a deficiency in height... not that all people that are less than whatever height feel that way - there are plenty of humble guys that aren't super tall ... its just, well, I hate being able to see the psychological source for the condescending tone by which I'm judged.

And MOST annoying to me ... is when people assume my motives for cycling ... and do so incorrectly - right after I state my objective... and of course, their ultra self righteous approach that everyone has their exact same goal, cause that's the ONLY goal to have.

....Ease up guys.....i think he mean that you look thin for someone that has been on juice, but as you said, it depend on whatcha wanna achieve.
I'm short too and honestly i'm cool w/ that cuz i know being tall would be shitty to pack beef on.....But someone needs to show us pics, i thinks Truman is righht about that.......just to see.....not to be arrogant........Peace

Agreed. I don't want to start arguments... except for the purpose of the community gaining knowledge... BUT, if someone starts shit with me... well, I think everyone here knows I'm not too keen on backing down.

Testostack - thanks for pointing out what my point has been all along... that we have different goals. :-) I never give people shit about their goals... no matter how different they are from mine... or ridiculous in MY view... because all that matters is that THEY acheive their minds eye of body perfect.

Anyone who interogates my motives will see that I have one for EVERYTHING I decide... and where I don't, if it's a good question, I just listen, and research, and ask questions.

    Peace out brothers...

Truman what cycles have you done? I am 6'3" as well and always looking to get stronger and bigger. Everything looks good no fat and good muscle mass.

  23. #103
Everyone has there own goals. I think Truman knows that he could have achieved his goals without AAS, just didnt have the patience which most of us are guilty of anyway. We live in a world where we want everything now be it convenience food, or the perfect body.

To the guy who gained 45 pounds in his first year i gained 40 pounds however i am not trying to fool myself into thinking that it was all muscle.

You have made some good changes, but to be honest with you, your body looks like its lacking in food, especialy if your taking gear,,,id look at your intake of food and am sure you will build more quaility muscle,,,,,

Well first off you look great, keep up the good work!!! But, I think you are doing WAY to much gear for only a second cycle!!!! Over a gram of Test, 100mg ED of Tren is crazy, and now you want to add EQ, masteron, and VAR? Be very careful!

    Keep up the good work!!!

    Peace,

Actually, I went from ~220lbs. in late 2001 to ~260lbs. in early 2003. My bodyfat went from 15% to 18%. My diet was pretty shitty as well, a lot of meat and potatoes. It is very possible to put on 45lbs. in a single year, even without gear. I'm still natural, BTW. I don't know if James21 actually did this but don't say that it's impossible.

You look good, bro. I think you could have done it naturally but it really doesn't matter what I think. You are happy and that's really all that matters.

    Peace.

I'm just going to accept this as true... and point out a simple calculation ...

    220 @15% bf = 33 pounds fat.

    260 @18% bf = 46 pounds fat

    Thus ... 40 pounds - 13 pounds = 27 ...

It looks like this thread has reduced itself to Truman hammering anyone that doesn’t think he has achieved great results. I looks to me by what I am reading that he is not really looking for any constructive criticism as he states earlier in this post, just accolades based upon his achievement relative to his goals. He wants to tell us why he is correct and everyone else is not but he does this nicely by stating that his goals are different than yours because he is tall and most of you with mass are short. I have asked several times in this thread for Truman to share with us his calorie consumption. I am sure that it is low, relatively speaking, which is why he has chosen not to share this with us and that’s cool too. Truman, you have received several props in this thread which should make you happy because it seems to me that is really all you are looking for. You have already decided what the right course of action for you is. It is not cool to slam others because based upon height, although I am sure most don't care. You use this for an excuse to discount their mass opposed to your lack of mass under the guise of your superior height. Trust me, there are a lot of men oh this board with huge mass that are your height and more, although I realize that you are not looking to be this way (at least that is what you say.) I am not so sure but I will never know what really lurks in your mind. I have never known anyone that hits the gym hard and takes AAS that doesn’t what to be big, you must be that one in a million. It is kind of like playing golf every day and saying that I would never want to play like Tiger Woods, he hits the ball way too far. I wonder if this is for real or if you have chosen the lean thin look because that is all that you think you can achieve. We will never know will we. As I said before, you do look good but certainly not like a body builder. If that is truly what you want, you have achieved it. That is my constructive criticism which is what you asked for.

I am that one in a million... like I said, I think BB physique is nothing short of disgusting in my personal view. But again, unless asked, I don't say that.

Secondly, explain to me how constructive criticism and "you could have done this naturally" are congruent? If someone says, hey, your arms need work... or your chest, or your upper chest, or you could eat more, or anything like that (as many have) I agreed. I also said I lack perfect discipline - becaue I won't make my friends and work schedule for one revolve around my fitness goals... and I wont walk around with a can of tuna.

I don't berate people for their height - I can just see a small man's complex coming a mile away... and where I DO accept the HUMBLING process of admitting that, good bad or otherwise, this was all I could do in my year of effort... I don't see the "high and mighty" ponying up the same kind of before, after and duration in between pictures...

So, step off. I don't start arguments with people who have tact. But I DO, and WILL thrash all the assholes who want to tell me how much better they are than me because they did it naturally, and gained 85 pounds in a year...

Good progress Truman, You are def a pri*k but a lean pri*k!!!! LOL Everyones goals are different and you are well on your way to yours. I would not recommend DNP for you due to your low BF % which I'd say from the pics is aound 9-10%. But it seems you are going to anyway by your posts so good luck and get ready!!!

All I'm saying is that is it entirely possible for a person to gain 45lbs. in around a year under certain circumstances. If my diet had been good I feel I could have put on another 10 - 15lbs. of muscle.

Don't say that things are impossible just because you don't think they are possible. You said that there are "numerous science journals" that state this, you probably couldn't show me one.

Not trying to knock you, man. Just keep an open mind about things.

I have NO problem being regarded as a prick... just so long as it's clearly stated that I'm a REACTIONARY prick ...

As in, people will have to do something to warrant that response from me... but, I own my title... and have no problem with it. People who know me know me to be true to my nature, and to stand up for what I believe it, and to have motives for EVERYTHING I do. I'm a calculating asshole...

Hi Truman!I've been off the board for 2 weeks due to hurricane issues here in FL.I don't have time to read 3 pages of comments.
All I can say is you look fit and healthy! That's the bottom line. Not everyone wants to be huge. Some just want to enhance thier physiques somewhat.Nothing wrong with that at all.So keep doing what you're doing and be content with yourself.
Good luck on achieving your personal goals!!

No flame intended, but I dont understand how Truman HW can be using test/tren and other aas and still be that small. I was 3 times hes size before I even startet juicing,(not trying to brag myself up) BUT, SERIOUSLY, WATS THE POINT IN DOING HEAVY CYCLES LIKE THAT WHEN YOU ARE SKINNY AND WANTS TO REMAIN SKINNY???
    Makes no sense!
