We have big, BIG immigration problems here in the UK, and on a grand scale it winds me up something rotten and makes me want to head out with an uzi and thin out the numbers. BUT, on an individual basis, I know alot of immigrants, illegal or not I do not know, and I like them and have helped them out just the same as I would anyone else.

I often tell myself that if I ran a business or was an employer of some sort, I would strIctly hire people of english descent, with legal paper work and passports, as it riles me up when I see my fellow country folk lose their jobs because some dude who cannot even be bothered to learn basic manners in our language is willing to work for half the price.

However, if I was in the situation, I too would get the "money overides everything" mindset, and would probably hire the foreigners.

I also would feel rather hypocritical if I gave foreigners a hard time, as I have worked in spain before (albeit for 6 months over a summer season) and also dream of working as a wrestler in the USA, and have wanted to do that since I can remember.

Unfortunately our government is soft as shit, and this problem will only get worse in years to come.

I also pay over $150,000 a year in taxes and contribute to the U.S economy as a whole. I know alot of illegal immigrants that work labor jobs for $7.75 hr picking strawberries, apples, berries, lettice and other really intensive back burning jobs. Now if thats taking away you're job make sure to line up in the fields and say you want in. The truth is that high paying jobs require and education. These people don't have any but are doing the only job they can which is mostly was none of us wanna do. So if they do a good job, open the door and let them work and save a penny.

America is already in the can..beyond any hope of salvation. there is however paperwork which you can fill out on her behalf to help her become an american citizen (without marriage) the only reason employers don't do this is because there is a cost involved....but if you're a hard ass you can deduct it from her paychecks. but the fear of deportation would be gone. check out the I.N.S. web site for info and the forms.

Just because you have a gay issue doesnt' give you free rain to follow only the laws you choose because the government hasn't gotton around to settling the gay marrage issue
