dex and jay looked top 2. i thought freeman would be right in there. he looked better than heath and wolf. with silvio coming in 6th. b.s. that freeman didn't crack top5. or even top 3. but i could definitely see dexter winning. congrats.

Freeman should have been higher than Wolf. Wolf looked the same as last year and did not make any improvements. That was a political/hype placing for Wolf.

This level of bb is great. This year all the competitors looked incredible. Really the best line up in years IMO. I can accept Dexter winning, definitely earned it and looked great during the finals. Though I do not agree with Jay placing 2nd, it really is almost apple and oranges when you are at this level. Still I hope all the top 6 come back next year with the inclusion of victor, branch, and kai. Those three will shake up the top 10. Congrats to Dexters win, he is definitely a Mr. Olympia in my eyes

I am very happy. With Dexter winning and guys with more aesthetic looking physique placing well, the sport is finally turning towards the traditional more aesthetic looking physique. No more awarding blocky mass monsters!!!

Look at the changes DJ and Gustavo made. They both slimmed down their physiques. So they see the direction the sport is headed. Too bad no one told Jay.

Yes I am perfectly happy and I believe it is great for the sport as well. Instead of having one guy dominate, it opens the door for the other athletes and allows the Mr. Olympia to switch around for the next few years. This will ensure all the athletes look their best and hopefully they will be now judged who is the best that night. Its good that the sport is taking the aim for the more aesthetic builds as Carlos pointed out, its the post-Ronnie effect. The mass monsters were just getting to much and did not look heathly (probably weren't healthy either) or pleasing. Dexter's physique is incredible looking and he was able to accomplish something that not a lot of others were able to do (Flex, Shawn). Next years Olympia should be even better.........

I have always liked his physique, they dont call him "the blade" for no reason
he has the most crazy striations/cuts that no one else can develope
Bodybuilding.com webcast sucked ass but i watched it on youtube and you can hear the crowd yelling "get em dexter, breathe!"
