Yah i had a TXU energy person come to my house and try to get me to go to there energy...i said no and then the lady started pitching obama... She proceeds to tell a joke where the punch line was that if you don't like obama's black half...vote for his white half? And then when i said I don't believe he was the best man for the job and that her using her jobs time to push her political views was appropriate, I get a nice "you racist wetback".

already did complain...ask around and you will hear many Obama supporters who don't know anything about politics who have done / said many stupid things that may seem sensational...but unfortunately they are true.
and as far as no one posting about white people not voting for a black candidate...that is exactly my point. See if some one says that we all recognize it as racist... but turn it around and it's pride? My point wasn't saying that only obama supporters are racist or discriminating...I am SURE there are plenty of that going around all over the US on both sides. My point was the double standard. I hate it so I point it out.

Whats funny about the "Black Pride" is that it only seems to be used when it's convenient for blacks. American "black pride" seems to only include their American brothers.....
In the late 20th century and early 21st century, take a look at what was happening in Africa because of the global diamond market. Blacks and their families were being pillaged, raped, beaten, dismembered, killed, and enslaved so they could mine for diamonds, by other blacks to make them illegal money through the diamond market. Millions and millions of innocent people were killed over "conflict diamonds".
Now you would think with all the black pride that the blacks in this country have, along with Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton, that they would have spoken up and joined together and called for a global agreement for all their black brothers to boycott diamonds. If there was no demand for diamonds, these wars would not have continued to go on.
But this never happened. And in the contrary, do a check on when it became extremely fashionable for the hiphop and black entertainment community in the united states to start covering themselves in diamond jewelry. Chains, medallions, watches, earrings, bracelets, rings, beltbuckles, teeth, etc.
Guess where many of those diamonds came from? Thats right, from the deaths, slavery and pain rape and torture of millions of their "African Brothers"
American Blacks pride for their culture and people only exists when it suits them. And seems to stop at the borders of our country.
My sister was over in Africa during this time, with her church group bringing food, medicine, and help to villages and areas that were highly infected with the AIDS virus. And the military limited the area of places they could go to help people because the rest of the country was too dangerous with the civil wars going on over the diamond conflicts. So not only were millions of people being killed for greed, but aid and medicine could not be supplied to thousands of other innocent people because of this Greed.
And the highest demand for diamonds in the world came from the united states at this time. Now take a look back and do you see whites, wearing jewelry from head to tow covered in 100s of diamonds? (ice) No, you see blacks.
This is why I laugh at this concept of "black pride"

Speaking of "black pride" here is an example of something that happened to me two weeks ago.
I have been friends with an African American fellow for a pretty long time. 10 years. I stopped by his house, as I was in his neighborhood visiting another friend.
After hanging out for a few, we go into his garage to check out some music equipment. In his garage are two Black Panther flags hanging on the wall.
"I said, dude, I didnt know you joined the black KKK".
He didnt even get worked up or think I could possibly be offended. He said "aw cmon! At least we werent hanging folks like you white people".
It blew my mind that he thought his groups killing of white people was:
A) not offensive to whites, because "we started it" by his perspective.
B) he actually thought that because black people were hanged, which is a terrible way to die, that other means of murder were more acceptable.
C) He actually thought that HIS racist group was accepted by the general populace.
I told him "you know what excuse rednecks use for the KKK right? They say ""oh, the KKK wasnt just about race, they would kill wife beaters and child molesters"" which is nothing but a lame excuse". I pointed out that no matter why people would say the KKK is acceptable back in the day, it isnt, and the Black Panthers shouldnt be either.
With Black people, its only pride. With white people, its racism.
I cant hang a Nazi Flag and tell black people and Jews to get over it because their people asked for it (just for arguments sake, that is). DOUBLE STANDARD. Like always.
Then we high fived and broke out into monster riffs.
