    Getting stronger it seems.....

Don't you do front raises with the barbell @ 135lbs? I might start doing them.... With just the bar at first though...

    Thanks

I should video tape it. too bad its not a private forum.. Obviously not going super slow or anything with that. The forum is still pretty freaking good considering I always get my elbows to be parallel with my shoulders. None of this funky bird flapping shit.... a little swaying/momentum towards the end of the exercise but shit.... whatever....... JJ be doing that shit too

I'm trying.. yep big truck its with the bb

Chest/bi: No spotter so went about things differently

30 degree Incline smith press: 3 warm ups
    345 x7 down to 225 x10 down 185 x10
    275 x10 down to 185 x10
    * not as heavy as last week the rep scheme was different. Much slower on the negative, pause at the bottom the power back up...... I was only able to pause for a quick second w/ 345 for only 4 reps.

Wide grip machine press: 2 warm ups
    270 x10
same style, slow on the way down, pause, power up

    Cable crossover: 2 warmups
    80 x10
    100 x8
    same style

    30 degree incline db flyes: 45 x15
    60 x10
    80 x8
    same...

    Cable curl 1 warm up

    Hammer db curls: 45 x10
    60 x10
    65 x7

    BB curl: bar
    95 x15
    135 x12

Machine preacher: 135 x7 would release grip on negative part to increase resistance

    Single arm curl: 80 x12
    super slow with static holds

Pump was incredible. Slowing down the rep scheme and doing those pauses really torn my chest up today. I may not have been stronger but had to make do and I looked really good today. Its bodybuilding not being a ego powerlifter lifting heavy weight with my gut and no definition in my physique...... I like to keep my six pack during the offseason

Legs: Adopted the Mike Mentzer superslow training today to switch things up a bit..... Its g2g!! even though weights not as heavy as last week (leg press 1230 x8) I felt it fo sho.

    Leg extension: 3 warm ups
    240 x12 2 second up, pause/static hold, 3 second back down

    Leg press: 3 warm ups
    920 x10 +3 3 seconds down, pause, power up

    Hack squats: 2 warm ups
370 x8 3 seconds down, pause, slow on the way back up and quad flex at top on each rep

    BB front squats: 135 x20
    225 x12
275 x6 Ass to the ground OF COURSE!!! Not as heavy as I have gone before but after all that above I will say I was a little pre-exhausted

    Leg curl: 3 warm ups
170 x9 3 seconds up, static hold/squeezing the shit out my hams, then slow on the release

    Seated curl: 2 warm ups
240 x10 same style up above. squeezing the shit out the hams

    Box stiff legged deads
    135 x20
    185 x15
    225 x8
all performed super slow on the way down to totally utilize my hams and less lower back etc. Was shakey on the last two sets and had to lay on the ground after the last set for a minute or two.... I was seeing stars

Calves: donkey, seated, one leg calf raise machine or whatever the hell its called.....

Shoulders/Tris: Was flat today. Not a big deal sometimes it happens especially working 50+ hrs a week.... All I can do is reevaluate what went wrong.... Sleep 10 hrs without a meal in between and just had breakfast before the workout....

Also I feel as though my triceps are behind especially when I hit a front double bi. I go by the mirror not the scale.... So I putting them first as my delts are my strongest body part.... I know the "rule" is bigger parts first but rules are meant to be broken plus I think I'll be ok

    V bar pushdowns warm ups

    Straight bar: 2 warm ups
    x10

Single arm db extension: 2 warm ups
    55 x9

Overhead db extension: 2 warm ups
    140 x6

Reverse grip smith bench: 2 warm ups
    315 x10

    Db laterals: 2 warm ups
    70 x10

Incline machine press: 3 warm ups
    330 +45lb plate x7

    Db shurgs: 2 warm ups
    160 x12

    Superset front/back shrugs: 2 warmups
    405 x10 each side

Good idea. Always best to do the lagging bodypart first no matter how small of a muscle it is.

    Chest/biceps: Killer day

    30 degree Incline dbs: 3 warm ups (45, 75, 100)
130 x9 was able to man handle these with slow control on the negative portion a slight pause at the bottom and a power up...
150 x5 fluid motion the whole way through nothing special other than doing the reps

30 degree incline db flyes: 2 warm ups 45, 70
    95 x8

Wide grip press machine: 2 warm ups 180, 270
    360 x7

    Cable crossovers
    x10
    x10
    x7

Preacher curl machine: 2 warm ups
    145 x7

    BB curl: 95 x10

DB hammer curl: 2 warm ups
    65 x7 down to 35 x8

    DB preacher curl: 55 x6
    negatives 75 x4

Feeling pretty good about my PB's.... Was shocked how I handled the 130s and could do reps with them that would make even Dorian proud

For me the power squat machine targets and isolates my quads a lot more than regular squats....

Going deep with my squats pausing and finishing the move

i hear what u are saying bro, i too opt for controlled movments with strict form most of the time as well. i havent maxed out in years. i really concentrate on getting that mind muscle connection that seems to help me feel it more and gets results.....one a side note why anyone would come on your thread and try to get in a pissing contest with you is beyond me..........rock on!

audis4, I remember you from a few years back.

Chubby 240lbs with no muscle & shoulders as wide as your waist.... Claiming you DB bench 140's for reps and other crazy numbers. Which your physique no where near showed the capability to do so.

Maybe if you gained 40lbs of muscle in the past 2-3 years I could see you lifting what you claim on here.....

But I highly doubt your physique has changed much, just your lies have got bigger.

    Here's the thread from 2006.

I think post 6 and 13 nail it on the head

    Chill

Ain't nobody interested in you sumo squatting 5 and 600lbs.

Can't expect to come in people's logs throwing out your heavy numbers and getting into a pissing contest with people about how much better i do this and that without getting poked at....

you did it in this log, my last log, and Morph's last log... touting around how big and bad you were........

don't get mad cause your thread is what is and explains some things....

if you can do all these great numbers and stuff then great.... but your not bodybuilding so quit degrading people about how much more you lift.... i don't care... not everyone has your same goals..... you want to show people how much you lift then start your own log and we'll watch......

    now go win your comp......

Back/rear delts: Internet was down but here is yesterday... Really loving how much control I have over the weight I hold... me happy

    BB rows (not reverse grip)
    135, 225, 275
    315 x7

Wide grip pullups (doing the pause hanging thing with each rep to really stretch out)
    x15
    x10 +25lb plate
    x8 +35lb plate

    Db rows: 140 x15
    160 x15

Long bar reverse grip cable rows: 2 warm ups
    240 x8

Hyper extensions: FULL stretch, slow too
    45plate x15
    45plate x12

Rear delt machine: 2 warm ups
165 x8 down to 60 for extra slow 8 reps with static holds (this BURNED)

Bent over rear laterals: 55 x12
    55 x10
dropping this weight down to go slower hit a good pause etc....

Lookin nasty bro!!! Can't wait to see the new picture album. You're not having ANY night sweats or insomnia? Lucky man. I'm only averaging 5-6 hours a night.
    Keep it up my man.

I have night sweats on the occasion they come and go... pretty weird i guess???

    Insomnia is on the regular...

And I can definitely tell what the tren does to my aggression.....

Last cycle never really noticed it... the intensity in the gym was of course amped but not like this

When people annoy me at work (especially if their slow) I'll feel like I'm about to boil over and I'll begin to sweat a bit.... I have not and will not lose control of course thats not an issue just noticed how much more aggressive and violent my thoughts can be when I get angry

Blood pressure really hasn't been an issue.... its probably raised a bit but nothing to affect me, though instead of taking creatine and all the "performance" enhancing supps I'm mega dosing vitamin c and fish oil (now)... Also taking coq10 and some hawthrone berry I had left over when I bought and SHIT ton on sale from that superdrol cycle... then my basic multi vitamin.... other than that no supps really at all..... just bought me some bcaa's yesterday.....

Ok going to switch up my routine to everything twice a week....

My favorite routine that I have done natural and still make outstanding gains while doing so.....

    Day 1: Chest/Back
    Day 2: Legs
    Day 3: Arms
    Day 4: off
repeat and add an extra day off if need be.....

I have tried the push/pull split with everything twice a week and the push day just doesn't do it for me.... I PERSONALLY can not get or feel the full benefit on that day but this routine has been my bread and butter for a while now......

I am on day 3 today of this routine and will update when finished
