Had something similar happen a few months back, okcupid too. We set up to meet at mainevent and shoot pool. She text me the day before and said she forgot she had promised that night to het very close friend. Didn't talk to her after that.

If she aint lying then I'm sure txt you you is not the first thing on her mind. Stroke can be quite devastating and time consuming, more so than a heart attach many times and she may be helping the family with moral support and???

Give it a couple of days, you dont want to send a nasty txt and mess up maybe a good thing, she would never forgive you. I always give people the benefit of the doubt. If they come through the 2nd time it's all good, if not then I'm done and even if it's true there is just to much drama in their life.

Give it another 24 hrs then send a txt just asking how she is and her grandfather. If she does not respond back withing a few hours then write her off but dont send any nasty txt.

I was thinking similar to this. I know a couple of guys who can only get fat chicks. Funny enough their online pictures look like models. I don't know how people do this, maybe the pics are 10 years old, or the perfect angle and lighting. I wouldn't put them past photoshop even. But its comical. And if dudes are doing this you can bet girls are too. Plentyoffish is notorious for HB's (huge bitches) that use their college or high school pics when they were halfway decent looking.
