Yes Hendricks took Condit down. But after the take down he had nothing. Condit did more damage off his back then Hendricks did in Condits's guard.

Just because you can take someone down that doesn't constitute a GREAT wrestler. Its how you control your opponent after he's on the ground.

And after the take downs Condit did more damage off his back and got up at will.

Now watch how GSP takes his opponents down and controls them. That's wrestling
Condit is one of the best off his back, just incredible, no way is GSP even close to Condit off his back.

I agree 100%, thats why Im not a GSP fan....plus his voice erks me crazy !

Not sure why everyone says this... Winning 2 of 3 rounds does not give you a fight. He got Fvcken mutilated in the 3rd, EASY 10-8 round if not stopped. Best he could have done was a draw

Yes very true. Condit is a beast and one of my favorite fighters.

With that said When GSP fought Condit he did control Condit on the ground ALOT better then Hendricks did.

Unless Hendricks lands a solid shot to put GSP out. I just don't see him out working him on the ground and that exactly where GSP will take it.

And like I said before Hendricks was gassed in the 3rd from simply striking.
How do you honestly think he'll fair when he's on the ground rolling with GSP?
He'll be gassed by the end of the 1st

The 3rd is where GSP slows to conserve energy for the 4th n 5th. And I just don't see Hendricks having it in the tank to put GSP away after the 1st.
    Either way I can't wait.

GSP is a smart fighter IMO, but he fights too safe and gets boring to watch. He needs to be explosive like he used to be, guess he's afraid of losing the title.

good statements....however I would say GSP gassed im the 3rd against Diaz and in the 4th-5th round he didnt look his normal 5 round freshness like in other fights....u knew he was tired because he kept gettin jabbed and he looked at the clock 3-4 times....he doesnt normally do that

So what happens in a catch weight between gsp and Anderson Silva? I know it will probably not ever happen, but if gsp can keep Anderson on his back, Silva could be in trouble. I think Anderson would win hands down in a stand up match, but I honstly think that with GSPs speed, he could avoid the knees and strikes to get inside to take Anderson down. I think GSP is stronger and could do damage if the fight stayed on the mat.

Catch weight would be 178lbs. Thing is Anderson is closer to Jones in weight then GSP. Bodyfat percent wise factored.

I think Silva's reach would play a big.role but again Silva gets taken down when ppl actually try....so if it goes to the ground GSP....but at the same time no one has seen GSP in a clinch where Silva is deadly at....I would probably go with Silva

We Rarely seen GSP on his back. That's how dominate of a wrestler he is.

So how could you make an assumption like above when you honestly don't know??

I understand people don't like his style of fighting.
But you shouldn't be mad at him because he knows how to win.
You should be mad that none of his challengers can stop GSP even though they're fully aware of what he's going to do.

I agree 100% with you, I just think GSP is going to take a few shot in the 1st which is going to level out the athleticism gap between them. Gsp is a different fighter once he gets hit, honestly Imo hes a wuss. I cant remember which fight it was, but his knee hurt and he came back crying about it. Greg Jackson yelled at him to forget about his leg and go out and fight. Now Im REALLY looking forward to this fight !!

Yes no doubt I dont take anything away from him, but really you think he has good BJJ off his back....even close to Condit? I by no means think GSP will be on fighting off his back....he's going to be sleeping when he gets KO'd.

I couldn't tell you how good GSP is off His back. But seeming how good he is at everything else he does. Leaves me with the assumption that he's pretty good.

Now as far as BJJ is concerned. Yes Condit is better.

GSP CANT afford to get hit by Hendricks at all. Lol
But the same goes for Hendricks , he can't afford to be taken down by GSP or that's where he'll spend the rest of the round.

Same here I can't wait for the fight either .

I still believe a healthy Rory McDonald
takes the Title from anyone holding it including GSP.

Exactly, how the fvck does an employee determine what work he takes... put your name on the fvcken line and entertain the fans that pay their hard earned money to watch you fight... or in GSPs case, just put in enough effort to not get hurt too bad.

It basically started with AS... I wont fight Machida, I wont fight Jones, I wont fight Chute Boxe team BS...

The only fight I actually want to see at this point is AS vs Jones, that and the fight where someone takes GSPs title. It would be even funnier if someone took his title in a 5 rd decision.

Silva wants to fight Jones now.
    He just wants GSP first.
Silva will destroy GSP. Then beat Jones and retire the GOAT.

    honestly I'd rather see a
Aldo vs B.Henderson then GSP vs Silva

Without the proper time or compounds I don't see GSP putting on enough mass to compete with Silva size.
And to hell with catch weights ( I'm not a fan of it)
The fight has to be for a Title or what's the point.

Alvez went on to lose 3 of 5 fights after GSP, one was the rematch against Fitch in which he got road even harder than the first time. He was getting sub'd so easily against better than mid-grade opponents. His biggest issue is he has the highest pre-fight cut weight of any welterweight. He walked around well over 200lb. His cut caused a lot of kidney damage over and over... He probably needs a lot of time to recover if he still has a career

Remember when they were really pissed at each other, I thought it was going to happen. Ya but Ken always seems to **** up things, stupid high risk moves that fail. His ending was horrible....I actually felt bad. I was a big fan. Met him when he was in WWF, he was HUGE !!! I first saw his back, I thought it was a muscle suit.

I did enjoy watching Jones till the Title fight. He toyed with a destructed Shogun for 2 rounds longer than the fight needed to go just to prve he was superior. After that, his head got too far up his ass. I was so happy when Belfort locked in that armbar... so damn close

I would love to see GSP go in for a takedown and Silva bring up his knee and lights out...

as far as Jones goes, I want that kid to lose so bad. He has got a bit arrogant with his success.
    100% agree.
Jones is a cocky punk. Who needs to be took down a notch or two. I believe Silva will be the man to do it.
