    They don't HAVE to tell you sht really. That's why you don't fck with law enforcement. Just do what they ask be polite and be on your way. She made the situation more difficult then it had to be and I would've broke her window too. And they probably booked her and whether or not she got convicted of a crime it still will say on her record she was arrested and booked.

    All thats required is there to be no barrier between the officers communication, and this lady was right, the officer was wrong. No law states that a car window has to be fully down in and US state.

    Police directives are for internal use. I as an American citizen have no obligation to follow police directives unless I am being detained for an illegal crime. Police do not own us, but some police think they do.

    If I am doing nothing wrong and a police officer gets in my way, I have no problem telling him/her to fvck off.
