I don't know if this has been asked but: is it true that most black men like big rear ends on females? and if so, why do you think black guys do more than white guys?
Its been asked but I don't have time to look for my answer so I'll answer it again. I have no problem doing that.
In Africa, a large rear is considered prestigious. It shows that the woman is well fed, from a good family with means. But it does go a little deeper biologically. Large butt and hips usually means the ability to carry larger children, more children, and with less problems. Large hips also indicates the woman's ability to care for children and still be productive (something about the hips of a female are designed for a woman to hold her child on her hip while walking or doing other things).
Thanks for the question Slimmer. I was waiting to see if any women had any questions for me.
^^^ thanks. Maybe I should re-phrase this: why do black women like having a big rear and white women don't?
I think the same rules applies to black women. Having a nice big butt is a sign of beauty to blacks, men and women (as well as any other culture with african roots, latin americans, for instance).
From the white girls I've had the pleasure of "knowing", LOL, they are much more fat conscious than black women. Plus white men (from what I've observed) put more of emphasis on large breasts and very little frames, so its only natural that the women would follow that trend. For instance, if you ask a black man to choose between Megan Fox and Serena Williams, the vast majority of black men would choose Serena. Not necessarily because she is black, but she's just more of what we consider a "woman" should be.
I also think that the cultural difference show that (and you would have to ask white men this) white men prefer there women to be more submissive and smaller in nature. Black men like a more robust woman and with a matching attitude.
^ ^ ^ loves a big ass!
For a black woman to have a big bum does it mean that she is healthy and fertile?
A little education considering the new proposal for an all-white scholarship program.
Many have asked about blacks only universities. THEY DO NOT EXIST!!! There are no universities in this country that are exclusive to blacks. That's against the law, first of all. But secondly, the colleges many are referring to are historically black colleges. They have non black enrollment. Usually 3%-5% and that jives with the black enrollment of many mainstream colleges.
Now the reason these colleges exist is because up until the 1960s blacks weren't always allowed to enter many colleges. Colleges in the south should be considered traditionally all white colleges because up until 1964 they didn't allow blacks into their schools. So in order for blacks to get a college degree that had to have their own. Now that there are open enrollment, these schools still exist and like the colleges of the south, they are inclusive of all people.
Now let's discuss BET (black entertainment television). 1st, its owned by Viacom, which is a white owned. Secondly, its has nothing to do with race, its capitalism at its finest. Someone found a demographic underrepresented in television and they found a way to make money off it. Let's face it the demographic for MTV is different from the demographic of MTV. We're different so why not have programming that reflects that difference. BET is no different than Philipino television, Univision, or any other ethnic centered television channels. I compare BET to CMT (country music television). I wouldn't have a problem with CMT being called White Entertainment Television. Why? Because how often do you see minorities on that channel? I guarantee you see more whites on BET than you see blacks on CMT.
Just thought I'd drop some food for thought.
To what would you attribute the casting of blacks in movie roles which originally starred whites? The Karate Kid for instance. Is it just another way to capitalize on consumers and make money, or do you think it comes from something deeper?
Money! I mean, I think Karate Kid is a bad example because the remake also involves a Chinese main character instead of the original Japanese character. So I don't think movies like that even matter. The race of the main character plays no significance. I'd be hard pressed to find any other examples. "I am Legend" is another example, but just like Karate Kid, Will Smith has the money to buy the rights to those movies. But again, the race of the characters in those movies had no significance to the movie itself. So I think its all about money. Now if a black man was cast in a movie of historical relevance then maybe I would consider it an issue.
Should i get rich or die tryin ?
I'd get rich...but that's just me...LOL!!!
You'd probably get shot on 8mile if you aren't from there, lol. Pretty rough area, I hear.
Sh!t!I already been shot 8 times them fools can't aim because otherwise they would have had me 4sho..lol
Now would anyone like a vitamin water?
I wanna kick it with Mayweather and 50..Do you think all the Mayweathers would beat up on me pretty good because Iam just some big white boy..
Orite you got me Iam a little loopy on some painkillers for my shoulder and being stupid sorry bro..lol
Mayweather isn't what you see on TV. Trust me, its all an act. I did some bodyguard work for him in the past. Neither him nor 50 dislike white people. Hell Em is one of 50s best friends. Mayweather's advisors are all white and some of his closest confidants are all white. Plus Mayweather is a very smart man, he won't fight outside the ring and why should he? Would you get give away for free what you could get paid millions for?
Anyway, enjoy those painkillers brotha. I'm about to pop a few myself. Just deadlifted 700 for a double then did some box squats and my knees are screaming at me!!
This question may not seem serious but it is.
My 1st cousin is about to marry a black guy. No one in my family cares at all, love is love. Anyway, she was talking to my wife and she mentioned that he is nervous about meeting our family because I think he figures us all for hillbillies. We have family reunions every year fyi and he is going to meet everyone at once. I don't wanna call him up and be like don't worry because I don't know if she told him that she confided in my wife about his fears(lack of a better term). We ( my wife, son and I) will be visiting how would your approach the subject of him being nervous? Or would you not say anything and just show him he has no reason to be nervous at all?
Definitely give him a ring. I've been where he's at. It's nerve racking. Talking to him before the event will give him a sense of security plus it'll make him feel more comfortable knowing he has at least one person on his side. But before you talk to him, make sure whatever you tell him is real and honest. If they're are people in the family that won't approve, let him know who, so he can avoid them during the family reunion. Good luck and remember open communication is always best.
sup brotha!
funny^^ I tend to double post as well after blazing.
That leads me to a question? Why do the brothers around here prefer regular to k-bizzle..They would rather blow huge blunts of reggie instead of a nice bowl of some yum-yum?
Sounds like my family, lol!! Especially now that I married a Hawaiian girl. So we got em all now, Asian, black, white, hispanic, native american, middle eastern, everything but pgymy...lol!!!
My bad brotha...its the kush!!!
Hahhahaha! Tryin to get back on the scene. I gotta get my place back at the top, you feel me?
Quantity of quality. Thats for guys who smoke constantly. Old school brothas (with jobs) only smoke late at night and only need a little bit to get right. Plus I gotta little cheddar in my pocket (and a script) so I get the pharma grade stuff. A little dab will do ya!!!
Just thought I'd bump this to pay homage to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. on the anniversary of his assassination. He was one of the greatest Americans and too bad we are still a long way to realizing his dream. The saddest part being that both sides have bastardized the man's leniage and used him for their own personal, selfish gains.
RIP Dr. King. You are truly missed!
I beg to differ. I was thinking you were close to my age? But I remember back in the 70's.... (ok, early 70's), I lived in the California Bay area...
comparing the two different generations?
and here's a big clue.... interracial couples. Now, it's no big deal. Back then? You had to worry about some dumb asss redneck coming at you if you were black, or in my case, some black chic coming at me or my girl cuz she was black.
My son was dating a black girl there for awhile (mentioned it in one of my "few" threads). Nowadays, it's all good, and the litmus test I gauge his girls is all about respect and work ethic and family values (in no particular order). I'd hands down approve any girl of color with respect, as opposed to some white disrespect girl. this seems obvious nowadays.
I think Dr. King's message was one of tolerence (first stage), and seriously, we really have come along ways. Don't you think?
As a society, we really should be proud of this accomplishment. I challange you to show me any other society that has turned it around, this much, in a sinigle generation.
Does it ever piss you off that you have to shape, rather than style, your hair?
Nah, I'm bald so I don't have many options. But when I did have hair, I had 'good hair' so I could style my hair but blacks haven't been into styles but the shaping was always we were into. Seems to have crossed over to 'others' as well, since you don't see very many black men with their hair 'styled' but you see a lot of whites, hispanics, and even asians trying to mimick black hairstyles.
I was watching Barbershop last night and had to chuckle when there was a revelation about Black Men need to stop bullsh1tting themselves about three things:
1) Rodney King deserved to get his asss beat
2) OJ did it
3) Rosa Parks just sat her tired asss down
...gotta love it!
I think I agree with both of you...we have come a long way, and have a long way to go.![]()
hahahahaah!! And the movie was right!
But Times, I'm not saying we haven't made progress, I'm saying that we haven't made enough progress and we are far from the day that Dr. King was speaking of. Yes interracial dating is more accepted nowadays than in the 70s but me and my wife still get looks from others and there are still places in this country where it is frowned upon and people will say hateful things. The day Dr. King was referring to was the day racial differences didn't matter...ANYWHERE in this country. To believe that it doesn't in certain areas is naive.
IMO... never happen. We are a society, hell, we are a race of people that loves to categorize things including people. And when you categorize, you notice differences. When there are differences, there is judgement.
Like any dream, or goal, it is something to strive for.
Unfortunately, there is ignorance amongst ourselves. And truly, ignorance is the enemy!
We have achieved more in a single generation than any other country has achieved in hundreds of years. That is something to celebrate!
The day Dr. King dreamed of is a goal. But, we should not get disappointed because we are not there yet. We should look back and be happy we are not where we were just a few short years ago. =)
TR well put. I never really though of it that way; as in look how much we have accomplished. Agreed we need to keep working for the common goal of equality but it's far from a black/white thing.
It really is to bad the there are still so many people, religions, races and fanatics who think they are the superior race. Granted some races do have superior genetics for certain sports but that's just part of adaptation.
