There are loads on the internet and good ones on youtube, plenty of tutorials showing how to set up shots and what to look for. But at first what I would do is just get out there and start taking pictures of anything you like the look of and see how that goes...

I don't have a top of the range camera, I was going to buy a DSLR but the size put me off because I like to keep it in my pocket. I have a good camera but not top of the range DLSR

The only angle I would want to see that is flat on the bottom of my boot. No love for spiders....

Have no idea how big/small these will be, but this is Araneus quadratus, otherwise known as the Four Orb Weaver Spider. Believe it or not, this guy is only about as big as your thumb nail. It's the same Spider and I was fortunate that this one, a female I think, was moving all over the place so I managed to get some decent angles of her.

I was having a look in Currys/PC World today just as a browse and some of the Nikkon cameras in there looked very nice.

I saw the National Geographic 2013 calendar today and thought it looked pretty sweet, lol, does that make me a nerd? Specially when I originally decided it was Kelly Brook 2013 for next year? I havent bought either yet!

On a serious note, I would love to be able to take a picture of the quality that is used in magazines like National Geographic.

The wife has some. Ill upload them later. There is obne of a tree that fell on a house and broke right ober the top ..meaning it broke at every corrner taking the shape of the house. Miracle it didnt crush the home....

hope all is well with you and yours bro, i live in the east up in maine and we got soooo lucky compared to others south of us....i still cant believe what i have seen on the news each night, i breaks my heart to think of all the people who lost all they worked for there whole lives...it shakes my faith to see such destruction...dosent seem fair really...

Really need to get a half decent camera, I mean my Blackberry isn't bad but I feel these pictures could have looked so much better with a good camera

Fungi has started growing all over the woods here and it's quite surprising how many varieties there are and how colourful they can be.
