this is my 1st and only relationship. been together since we were 16. dont know how healthy that is but it works and we are both happy so wtf?

I think it's a tough thing to gauge obviously there is going to be sexual tension if you are attracted to someone, and if you spend a lot of time together then that makes it even tougher, but I guess you just see how long you can wait. I don't really know. 5 months seems like a long time to me. I've always been in long term relationships and never really waited too long to have sex, but those relationships both failed after a year and a half so maybe I should try something different.

5 months is a little easier when your both 16. im not saying wait that long but if you plan on being with this person a while then let me inform you, as much as i hate to admit, sex can get old after a while (i know i know) the wait is worth it IMO

u can also be blinded by sex kinda like love. if the sex is great then the relationship will seem great. then once the sex slows down a little and u start to get to really know the person u might not really like them

I agree, I am looking on going into a long term relationship, and hopefully one that is fantastic and forever lasting. There is so much to think about, but I think I would like to really just sit and talk and get to know each other for a while.........

yeah ive had 3 relationships that lasted over 2 years. wehn i was single i was more like ur friends though. my new girl and i are a whopping 2 months in but on the up and up she has her life together more then anyone i have ever dated

I going to date someone older this time, someone who has already been married before, someone who knows what they are looking for in a partner. I've got my stuff together with my house and education as well as a job, I guess you just have to feel things out and see what might work best in every situation. But sometimes it's hard to resist hormones.
