Okay,

You got the pro-war and anti-war protestor... and they are all just beatin the crap outta each other... The anti-war prot say its their right to protest, and the pro-war calls them anti-patriotic and say the founding fathers would not have wanted it this way...

Thomas Jefferson tells the convention we cant be pussies and not go to war and we cant been seen by the world as blood hungry savages.... so the compromise is the people protest and the goverment can start any war it want, thus keeping face... while the american people are loved but the gov is hated

pretty logical...
