i'm sorry but that story just dosent pan out with me. Sounds like an episode os law and order. 1st of all if they came in your house without a warrent and not invited and found steroids in ANY place but one that was clearly visable from the outside of the house. That would be tossed out of court so fast your head would spin. They could find a dead body in that house searching it without somone letting them in or having a warrent and they couldnt prosecute you for shit. A cop comes to your door you never let them in.. you never admit to anything and NEVER NEVER NEVER walk outside your front door while talking to them. They can detain you and take you into custody as soon as you exit your home. "this is the time when you can flush all your shit down the toilet you dont want to be sitting in jail helpless while they wait for a judge to sign a warrent. Just my two cents.

one thing to keep in mind bro is that DEA are feds, they have no local authority. For the amount of gear you described they'd have to get local pd involved to really bring you in or charge you. I doubt dea wants anything to do with low level users, just a lot of paperwork and a waste of their time.DONT **** WITH DEA

I have some experience in the way law enforcement works and this story sounds a bit bogus. If you did order a personal supply of a small amount of gear you would get a CUSTOMS letter on your door before anything else happened. I don't believe this story...sorry. Things just don't work this way.

Very similar shit happened in the satellite card programming world a couple of years ago. Yes cops did go to some homes looking for card programmers and other sat stuff, even in my little small town.
If they knew what he said they knew, then they had to have the customer database of the supplier I would think, and they were going down each address that had placed an order, how else would they know that information....
If anyone has done business with this place, I would clean house if U know what I mean.
I would not involved my GF, or owned up to shit, the best thing is ask for is the lawyer, innocent till U prove me guilty. So

YES you infact DO need a search warrant to enter anyones home , car trunk or glovebox or any closed locked item in the auto, UNLESS as i stated earlyer they have probable cause IE they can clearly see an illegal act/items. for example you answer the door about steroids or whatever.. they came for and in the back ground they see a pot plant or a mirror with white powder on it. THAT can allow them to enter without a warrent. Yes they can come into your house without one not invited.. the same as i can and its called trespassing.

all in all, if they had found something without a search warrent.. they would not have been able to get a conviction..
but in the original post.. he admitted to them that he did have 1/2 bottle.. thus they then had probable cause..

I agree, when I lived in Texas I was pulled over for speeding. The cop asked did I know why I was pulled over, I said yes I looked down and realized I was speeding. He looks around my car in the windows. Then asks can I search your car. I was not hiding a thing, but damned if I would let him do that so I said why would you want to do that. He said do you have anything to hide. I said no but you still do not have my permission to search. He made me get out of the car and pointed in my face and said next time I ask and you say no I will empound your car and get a warrant. I said is the 4th amendment non-existant around here. When questioned: Do not answer questions, keep asking why they are there, and what charges they have against you. If they are not charging you with anything tell them you have nothing more to discuss with them. You don't have to try to be a hard a$$ and say get the f#ck out of here. That will only escilate the situation. If they charge you get a lawyer. You fell for the oldest trick in the book an interigater uses, accusation. They proubly went to your house on suspition that you were using. Because if they had proof you would have been charged. After a few threats they confirmed that you used steriods had more on the way and got your source. Not a smart way to handle the situation.
