Why did you start using gear?

Why did you start using gear?
It’s not an easy question to answer since many users feel inadequate with themselves and feet that the pursuit to look like a muscle god requires anabolics.

I’ll be honest I haven’t started using gear yet, but feel I will in the next few months. I told a close friend that I was seriously considering taking the plunge and he didn’t understand why I felt I needed to take steroids. He said I wasn’t a professional athlete and it wasn’t as though a million dollar contract was in jeopardy if I didn’t take them.

So why did you folks feel the need to start taking gym candy?

I was just curious about them but never used em(unless you count a month of slin).

Alot of my friends were but I never felt the need to, I was lifting heavy and making progress all the time, just shoving food in, 10 boiled eggs, a can of beans, a can of tuna, 2 tbs olive oil, with 2 cups of rice was a normal meal for me.

wierd as it might seem, I made alot of progress and kept up with my friends who were using roids, they put more wieght on some lifts and I put more on others so I never thought I was lacking.

And the thought of my balls shrinking is enough for me to stay away, I have an edge naturally so Im not gonna mess with it.

I was young and naive. At 19 I didn't fully understand what I was getting into and took the plunge anyway based on the results my buddys were having. I was also 135-140 lbs. do I regret it? you bet. I wish I had done my first cycle now, at 24, instead of then.

only did 1 cycle 20 years ago...friend/roommate was a bb and I also wanted to get bigger/stronger quicker, easier.

    20 years later(present), I started because of low T.

yeah. why do something for 10 years when some juice will get the job done in 4 years. I mean seriously. We all workout hard and bust our asses for the muscle we gain, juice or no juice.
But in the end juice IS a shortcut because hardly anyone that gets on the juice has reached a unbreabakle plataue.

But then again the smart man always pics the shortcut Most possible result in shortest possible times.

Because, if you want to BE abnormal you have to DO abnormal things... and AAS are one way to create a very helpful/effective increase in anabolism, especially for the cost.

I notice that in this board alot. Being bigger doesn't make you better.

Because normal in this World seems to be fat and lazy... and living your life as society's norms guide you will only lead to an existence I am not happy with.

Being strong and lean is not something your body sees as normal anyhoo - it is built on evolution that gives you periods of holding fat for survival or losing muscle to become more effecient when it thinks your starving. Being very muscular and lean is not in most peoples genetics - and AAS helps to even the playing field, so to speak.

I'm realistic and have always realized the only way to make it in competitive bodybuilding is through using drugs. Earning a pro card is my goal, not to say it will ever happen, but it something I will always aim for.

I wanted to be huge. I have always wanted to be since i was younger.

When I first started liftin I was a skinny fat kid and was tired of not fukin hot chicks so I lifted weights every day and hardly ate and ran a lot. I lost a lot of weight but didnt get bigger (of course).

After learning about diet and lifting more I got up to 225 @ 12%BF and messed up my shoulder and was struggling to gain weight ever since then til abot 10 months ago.

I will probly never stop until I am at least 250@15% or less.

I first became interested in gear around 10 years old or so. I was big into pro wrestling with guys like the ultimate warrior and hulk hogan. I used to say to my parents I wanna be big like those guys and they would say no you don't want to do that because they use steroids. So thats when I realized if you want to be big you need juice. So it was always in the back of my head and I was always a bit of a drug experimenter. So one day I decided it was time to change my life style and stop being skinny as hell and start lifting. So I lifted natural for a while and perfected my diet and and cut back big time on drinking and started gaining weight. Eventually I got a hook up on gear and thats where I have been since.

IMO, i bearly started on AS at 180lbs natty pounds, see u gotta have a strong foundation first of all, or u might collapse, cuz i agree that 150lbs its way way too small to start on AS, shit when I was at 150lbs i wouldn even bother to learn about AS, I put all my mind into correct form, training hardcore, and specially the hard diet a bodybuilder has to follow, just ask ur self when u do end up doing AS if u already master ur diet and training, cuz u gonna flip out when them drugs start kicking in and ur small frame wont be ready for it!!!

Thats what Im saying. Its not cool how he jumps on people for giving their opinions. But he is free to express his opinion like everyone else. He should just respect the views of other people. I respect his knowlede, just not the way he exudes it.

Ok Well if its really is not you then I apologize.

But its amazing how man threads you post in and give warnings and post are edited and threads are locked.

Look at adrenaline's post above. You pointed out about the post and someone else edited it?

See how that works Carlos? I said something wrong and i said i'm sorry. You say something that offends other members and you don't give a shit and laugh about it.
