I have to admit after tonight my respect for Ronnie just went through the roof.

Honestly, make fun of who you want but if anyone saw the boardwalk fight episode, that was really fvcked up. A fellow pos New Jersian was taunting Ronnie ALL FVCKN NIGHT, following him around with his girl (what kind of loser does that shit).

Ronnie was NOT saying a word to this guy, and I personally would have let off wayy sooner then he did. The entire situation and how mature he acted I was NOT expecting at all. And then when he had to he laid the guy the eff out.

But if anyone saw this Ronnie is actually prob the only guy on this show I got mad respect for. He might look like a meathead, but you can tell the guys got a real good head on his shoulders.

I think Mike gets given the wrong impression, but IMO Ronnie "dating" that girl is a bad move. She dropped Mike in a second to get with Ronnie because he's a better looking guy. Ronnie will get dropped eventually too, because there will be a better looking guy around some day.

I don't blame Mike for still hitting on the girl either. Ronnie never had any consideration for Mike in the "situation" (pun intended) and was excited to pick up some left overs.

In the same sense, you could say Mike was thinking with his head, when he tried to defuse the problem at the bar with the guys stealing shots from them. He bought the guys the shots to avoid a conflict, but Snookie was just not okay with it. But instead, it was his fault for getting the guy so wasted he blasted a girl.

On a side note, that poor guy is on national TV punching a 4'9" girl in the face. He probably can't go out anywhere with out catching a beating or at least a ear full.

I thought Ronnie handled the guy stalking him and Sammi with a lot of class and maturity.. he genuinely seemed like he didn't wanna be getting into stupid bar fights like a punk kid, even though he really gave that guy a good whooping once that guy got into his face. I bounce at a few places in North Jersey and 90% of the fights involve some guy who weighs less than 160lbs. I rarely get into confrontations when I go out but it is usually with some skinny specimen is jealous because of his girl staring at me. It's just a North Jersey thing. A lot of big boys lurk in the area and the small mans retaliation is trying to pick a fight. I just laugh it off. People call it the Napolean Complex or w/e but its not always an insecurity thing (all though I did do it more when I was younger). But the fact is bigger guys have no problem pushing their weight around onto the smaller guys, and believe it or not maybe we handle it differently, but I'm actually more prone to start shit with someone a lot bigger then someone my own size.
Call it a death wish but bigger guys do it more matter a factly, like bump into you and just expect you to take it cause your smaller. I rarely get shit like that from smaller guys (same in prison too). But it seems smaller guys usually just cross the line quicker.
And big guys unconciously treat smaller guys as none threatening (like laughing at a confrontation) but last guy who laughed at me also got laid out. Theres def 2 ways of looking at it, but smaller guys become receptacles to the shit a bigger guys ego produces (all my brothers are much bigger then me), so its not all about needing to prove themselves. We really do take a good deal of shit just by being short, so I have no issue with it feeling like I gotta prove myself if thats what it is.

It all depends on the guy. I do not blame a smaller guy who stands up for himself. Actually, I admire it a lot. When I go out, I am constantly trying to avoid bumping into people (regardless if theyre 150lbs or 250lbs). I am respectful and avoid confrontation by all means. However, I do see a fair share of bigger douchebags who have it out for smaller guys and try to bully them around. In return, I also see smaller guys starting fights with bigger cats for no reason at all. It all varies on the person. I just dont understand how people can go out and have the mentality of--"lets see how many fights I can get it/guys I can punk out." An Attitude like that with get a guy ZERO girls and will make everyone around them lose all respect for them. It's just a Jersey thang...
