Quoting that 15 years Iraqis will read social studies books and see how America screwed them up. WTF. Its only been 8 months since we've been there and already you are looking ahead 15 years and STATING we will have screwed them up. That is retarded. i said that, but i was talking about US students reading that not iraqi students, maybe not that we screwed up, but im sure they will read that it turned out just like veitnam did. and as for them hatting us, yes i do have friends in Iraq and they were in Afganistan too. they hate us with a passion over there, ok maybe know 100% of them but 95% of them do. and as for spewing out facts, if you really would like me to i can go threw all of your posts and copy all of the statements you said were fact that are way off and have been proved wrong by other people posting about them. so i think it is you that should be looking for fact

This is a neutral comment, but I do have family (through brothers marriage) who are in Iraq. And although they are happy about Saddam out of power, they don't like the U.S. staying there, and not leaving and giving the power to the people yet, and just sticking around. In terms of the majority, I dunno. Just wanted to say that though.

It's funny to hear how differently people can think on different subjects...especially politics. The great thing is that all of us are free to express those opinions.

I don't agree with the more liberal slant of things, but I truly respect all of your point of views. Truth be known, I would probably get along with all of you if we were ever hanging out somewhere.

With that being said, I'm going to abstain from any further debate in this thread since it truly seems like we are beating a dead horse here at times in regard to politics. I can see some of your point of views to certain degrees, but in other ways it is almost impossible for me to relate to your point of view.

I know that I won't be able to change any of your points of view, and in turn, no one is going to change my point of view...so enough said!
