Ive been doing 250iu's HCG twice a week on a 2x a week t-cyp program. Considering 200iu's HCG 3x a week. Would this be better than what I'm doing now?

It's what I do and it works for me.

Honestly, LD HCG more frequently is better and presents a more natural state than two big doses a week. I am thinking of 100 iu daily to be honest...just a few more painless pins but better more natural hormonal state.

Dr. John Crisler and I just spoke to this, while 3 injections a week will work he likes a small daily injection as it mimics a more natural hormonal state...I agree.

At low doses like 100 iu a day or even 250 EOD should not impact E2 in most men. I have had numerous discussions with my Physician on just this subject and he said he rarely sees any issues with these low daily doses...and he sees 1000's of men in his care.

That said, we all should be monitoring E2 on any type of HRT...that's just a good protocol practice for everyone.

Yes, some Physician's consider HCG a neurohormone and that it acts on LH receptors in the brain. It provides for a great sense of well being and some claim an enhanced lift in libido.

Dr. Crilser prescribes it for his men who are Primary Hypogonadal.

Yes, even with that amount of time you can start. It will take some time for the receptors to upregulate...but they will.

Long story short. I have trouble taking Testosterone injections. It makes me feel worse. So now I am about to start HCG only for my testosterone. I might add Test C later and see if the combo actually works for me. My question is, How much is a good dose. My Dr wants me to take 1000iu x 3 per week. I think this might be a fertility dose. Is it? Should I try this at first and then tapper down?

Just to give you an idea of how my body reacts to Test C. When I took 100mg per week my total T levels were around 900-1000. I had high e2 conversion. E2 got up to 60 before the Dr I was seeing at the time gave me ai.


Also, my LH is really low. Last 2 test were 1.4 and 1.7

Never tried the gel. Too expensive cause my Ins won't cover it. Also, my dad has the same issues with Test C and he was on androgel and had the same issues. Must be an inherited issue with this stuff or our E2 levels were never optimal or polycythemia.

Also my Dr wants to put me on HGH but I can't afford $900 or more per month.. I got a messed up pituitary for sure but no tumor.

Ok...my Doctor prescribed me TRT, but nearly keeled over when I learned the cost of those patches.
I haven't started yet because of the cost, but after my last cycle (Test e only, 3 mo ago) I feel lethargic again, low libido, that much more difficult to keep weight off, not adding lean- perhaps even some loss. My trainer thinks he can get my test levels up naturally, but we'll see at the next blood test.
My question is, which also concerned me is, once on TRT it's for life right? Is TRT enough to permanently shut the twins down? Cause as I read this post hCG will keep the tests active even when on TRT for years, yes?

Besides hCG you mention "pregnenolone," an over the counter supplement. A google search brings up very little useful information on this, compared to other supplements discussed on this forum. Can you expound on some more info on the use and benefits on supplementing pregnenolone when on TRT, please. Is that something you take on a regular basis? What do you look for to adjust your dosage?

MD wants me to take 500iu 4 days before my test inj, and two days before my test inj......obviously thats 1000iu / every ten days.... thing is he also informed me that my script has extra, and that i can take a 3rd injection during that time of hcg, just that he wants me to go with 2 or 3 and stick with it till we do blood. ANyone have thoughts or reasons to do 2 or 3? yes ive read alot of posts here ,still not sure, i rather side on less is best if its doing the job.

Any "micronized" product will work. I use MRM brand personally. Cheap and effective.

It's correct and had me worried as well. I actually called the company when I saw that months ago and spoke to two different people on different days. All their products are micronized and upon their next production they are going back to labels that say micronized. I verified it with different sources. No worries.

Kelkel, the study posted at the beginning of this thread shows that men on TRT responded well to 500iu of hCG EOD. Why is it that many posters feel that this number is too high?

Many seem to be seeing good results on 250iu EOD or even twice weekly.

According to that study, there was no significant increase in E2, but many forum posts I've read seem to caution against a dose that high due to E2 issues.

What has your experience been?
