You are the agent of your own destiny, whether you realize it or not, whether you act it or not. Only you can find the motivation to exert the quality of effort to achieve your full potential as a bodybuilder. No one else can do the work for you. Developing a personal philosophy of effort based on objective principles requires time and dedication; but the rewards are commensurate. As that philosophy takes shape you will grow increasingly directed and purposeful. But you can't just think about it, you must act on it! So, take pride in your power to achieve your values and goals. Be a champion of choice and make the high-intensity effort necessary to achieve the kind of physique you desire.

Many bodybuilders apparently don't understand that the big picture in bodybuilding involves two elements of equal value, literally 50-50, not 60-40 or 70-30 - but 50-50.

There's no gain saying that the workout itself is important, it's only 50 percent of the big picture. The second element, not one scintilla less important than the workout, is the rest period between workouts. And here's why. The workout understand doesn't actually "produce" muscular growth; it serves merely to "stimulate" the body's growth mechanism into motion. It is the body itself - of course - that produces the growth, but ONLY if left undisturbed during a sufficient rest period. If you don't rest enough, you don't grow enough - if at all!

After picking up sore throat from staying in my buddies house. Carpeted floors and dogs never a good combo for someone who is sensitive to dust, hammering panadol into me and salt water solution

I went to the gym this am to do cardio and decided to try for a new PB on flat bench. 295x1 was PB (don't laugh too hard guys) so I decided to try for 300 which I failed on about a month ago. Warmed up with 135x 20 then 15. Then I put 225 on for 3 just for feel. Loaded up 300 and BANG!!! 3 reps!!! Followed up by (no rest other than stripping weight)225x9. Both PB. I just went to that angry spot and basically was like MOVE BITCH! This thread is awesome! Thanks Marcus

It's a load of shit, I know why I am sick it was from staying in a friends house the bollicks doesn't hoover his rooms properly and he has two Dobeams which roam the house. The above combo and carpeted floors caused me to be sick this is the worst and it's the third time I've come outta there with a dodgey throat I am refusing to stay there from now on ****ing dump costing me money and more importantly gym time

This looks hideous, but is unreal crunchy pnut butter, mixed with choc protein in a bowl lovely stuff can be a bit heavy if you mix too much pnut butter in it but it's a lovely high protein sweet to have with good fats.
