    No huge pump. Muscles are fatigued and wiped out.

    Good morning! Got to be a little late to work this morning due to no patients early. So I did cardio at 5am so I could train with my friend at 6:30.

    30 mins cardio

    Upper body day

    Giant set 1 12 mins
    *as many rounds as possible*
    BB Rows 90x10
    Plank 30 secs
    BB flat bench 105x8
    1 min rest
    -made it 5 rounds
    *doing the bench after planks made it quite challenging! Lol Friend wanted to start on the bench so I had no choice.

    Giant set 2 12 mins
    *as many rounds as possible*
    Wide pull-ups 10
    Db shoulder press 35x8
    Plank 30 secs
    1 min rest
    - made it 5 rounds

    Giant set 3 12 mins
    *as many rounds as possible*
    Db Side lateral raises 10x15
    Db Reverse lateral raises 10x10
    Db overhead extensions 15x12
    Db curls 15x12
    30 secs rest
    - made it 6 rounds? Lost count

    Pump was ridiculously painful!! Loved it though! Lol

    Are you tight after that workout? Did you take each set to fail? Let’s see if your sore this afternoon / tomorrow. I’m working early today. Doing store inventory. If I can get in and train this afternoon I’ll take some pics of the type of machines I would like you to use. Also are you eating one hour before you train?

    Muscles are fatigued. I went to heavy on some but dropped down and kept going.i could not have done 5 sets.

    Still look great! Not sure if you or Bio have tried this but one thing I’ve tried in the past in various forms is 12 sets of 12 reps with 12 secs rest. On the rest you actually hold the weight just off the bottom. It’s obviously a finisher of sorts and used with more isolation work like flyes, straight arm pulldowns, leg extensions etc...but if that doesn’t give you a pump and light you on fire I don’t know what would. Lol

    When was the last time you went Carb-crazy? I ask because my best pumps are Sunday mornings, the morning after I have a cheat meal. I'm convinced its the carbs the night before. Oddly tho, just upping my carbs a bit day-to-day has virtually no effect. I know we talked about carb cycling, you ever think about going back to it?

    Started my day with cardio. Legs tonight. I feel leaner overall, even though my weight hasn't changed much lately.

    Anyone want to share their secret rituals for final pictures? I'm thinking, like everyone else I'm sure, that some kind of quick and intense pump-oriented full body warm-up just before pictures is the way to go? I'm not particularly lean, so I'll have to pray for some size improvement. What about diet? Any changes at the end?

    Oh man, look at Kitty bringing out the guns! Good work!

    Just left the gym after doing legs... Front squats, leg press, Romanian deadlifts, leg extensions, leg curls, calf press. I like my gym a lot, but the owner is a bit cheap... He turned off the AC because it's been kind of cool lately... But it was 85 freaking degrees and humid today! I'm sweating my butt off. Nonetheless, I'm feeling pretty good.

    Tonight's dinner: chicken, rice, beans. Same old, same old.

    hahahaha very funny, I wish. They set me up good. There was 200 question test, then an 80, those two were no problem, but then at the end they gave a 6 question timed test, worded real tricky and my mind was spent so I rushed through it and I think I did'nt get it, then I was at my car and they called me back in and asked to do another quick. It was the same as the first but a few questions were changed. Wish I had taken more time with the last two test, I think I fell for the trick.

    Nice figured it out!! That was my issue for a while, I wasn't eating anything pre-workout because it would screw up my stomach with the pre-workout supps. Man looking back I was way off track.

    Actually the more I talk about it with you guys the more it seems Im figuring things out.

    1. I couldn't juice anymore because of my hair, but trt was fine
    2. I started getting injured, forearms, neck/shoulder
    3. Started taking lots of pre-supps to push through feeling like crap

    Number 3 tore me apart, It broke my body down, I wasn't sleeping so no recovery (for an already shot body) then I would just take pre-workout in the morning to get through work and then again before training. I dont know about you guys but the second round never helps, I believe in my head it will.......but it never does. I even do it with RedBulls, I end up feeling like poop and crashing.

    Its been a solid 3 months no training at all, diet is shit too, not eating enough and when I do it isn't good. Honestly we cant afford to eat like I used to right now, but I can clean it up for sure. Been riding my quad hardcore since getting to Florida, been pushing cardio to the max and in some pretty hot weather.....I think it was nearly 200 degree's the other day I rode. But I started back with some light stuff at home, we have the start of our home gym and I finally feel optimistic about getting back in shape. I think I needed some time totally not training and away from my old atmosphere. (Not bragging) but so many looked up to me it was devastating not being able to train hard like i used to. The weight I wasn't worried about because intensity can overcome that, but I couldn't do either. New beginning I guess on all fronts.

    You guys forging forward in this comp has giving me motivation, well done all!!

But I started back with some light stuff at home, we have the start of our home gym and I finally feel optimistic about getting back in shape. I think I needed some time totally not training and away from my old atmosphere. (Not bragging) but so many looked up to me it was devastating not being able to train hard like i used to. The weight I wasn't worried about because intensity can overcome that, but I couldn't do either. New beginning I guess on all fronts.

    You guys forging forward in this comp has giving me motivation, well done all!!

    10 liquid egg whites 8 oz fruit smoothie (2) packs instant grits approx 65 gr carbs
    I had only been doing (1) packof grits before.

    I mix all together and drink. I don’t cook the grits

    The mental part is hard, not being able to go in and leave all in the gym.......walking out satisfied ......knowing you kicked ass. Maybe I have to find a new way to get that feeling out of it, lots of cardio, get real cut so I have something visual since I cant be as big as I was. I think thats it, Ill just get ripped and in shape. It will help with riding anyways and thats the activity I really want to focus on now. First, get my diet straight.
