    What line of work are you in? I'm an electrician, so I can work anywhere really but not sure if I'd have as good as a life as I do here in Canada. The unions here pay well and cost of living is pretty reasonable

    I don't know much about unions in the states or specifically California but I'm sure cost of living is equatable. As long as you buy good health insurance before you get sick or injured! Don't get me wrong, I love Canada, and Toronto! I just wouldn't complain if I spent 2-5 years in California, then come back! I work in finance.
